Sweet Tea
On our first date,
She ordered sweet tea.
A whiff of nostalgia swept my being,
As I couldn't imagine the enchantress I was seeing.
Soft russet hair extends to her collar,
Orbs of glacier blue gazes back.
Appearing so delicate and dainty,
Words of honey, she speaks of faintly.
Casual beetroot cardigan, whisked with her complexion,
God, was she beautiful.
Each date to come,
