The Pilgrimage To Mecca (Straight Talk)
Forgive Them Father For They Know Not What They Do
In the civil unrest years of the 1960's minorities needed hope, we needed prayer to bridge racial disparity among the masses.
I am writing this in regard to an important part in our history, some if not all have long forgotten, in addition, for those who have survived it.
May your nights be restful and for the ones who were left beyond, may the memories stir your mind to give it much needed comfort and rest.
Let’s visit...

New Revelation
An Angel descended to the earth
And blew his trumpet
And he called to judgment all the living
And all those who lay in the tomb
But it was already to late
And every sinner was fast asleep
And the trumpet voice was in vain
And only one rose up
Over a world that has fallen asleep
He rises in the shadow, an ominous
evil raised from the pits of hell
A formidable idol with an animal grin
The new Revelation
His empty eye sockets are watching
behind our dreams
...

FORGIVENESS
NEEDED
I've always heard that
even angels make mistakes
and everyone guesses
that the devil does all
the time. I know I, hopefully,
fall somewhere between
these two entities. I would
dare to make a guess that
we all do, not an accusation,
just a thought.
If it is true that the best
and worst of us makes mistakes
it must follow that we all,
at one time or another, need
forgiveness. I see that
the line at the confession booth
is long but I will patiently wait.
HOW ABOUT YOU?

SOMETIMES WE GOTTA CHOOSE
Through the visions of the storms of life, we will be pulled in two different kind of directions, one by the devil chasing after us
and theology the other is the almighty trying to protect us from harm. Cause through the insanity of it all it will eventually tap into our alter egos and boost our subconsciousness, blinding us into submission into the depth of the darkness away from the light. But yet as the presence of the darkness that Hoover's over our heads, seems to follow us no matter were we go we must decide on the right path, to take along this dangerous dark road of the unknown....

Charlatans
(Radix malorum est cupiditas)
For the love of money…
Men have sold their souls
Men have told lies to reach their goals
For riches and fame
To cheat at the game
Men fight to have
More money
More power
And with it,
More control
But what’s even more appalling
Is that some will say they have a calling
From the Almighty…
(Dollar)
And they will holler
From the pulpit saying the most high
Has commanded they live with wealth
See the gospel of prosperity is a pyramid scheme ...

The Magi
( After William Butler Yeats )
Traversing the sky's open arms
Seekers arrive from afar—
Lugging coffers of golden charms
Toward that yonder star
Wealthy cities hold no allure
For those with vacant hearts—
Nor treasury's worth reassure
Happiness shan't depart
Yet for promised kingdom yon
They'll don their thorny crowns—
Exchange all wealth for answers sought
On Golgotha's bloody mound

How to Seek God (and Where to Find Him)
We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.” Mahatma Gandhi

Redemption in a Strip Club Backroom
On the 8th day
He lit that bitch up
Out of time
Out of patience
Lock down
Lock up
Serviced
Beyond reason
Spanked
Clamped
Fucked

Baptized

NUDITY, THEOLOGY, FEMININITY
Did not God think it 'VERY good'
when he had made first humans nudd?
'Male and female He created',
His father heart demonstrated,
Naked and without any shame
of their divinely finished frame.
It was that pesky little snake
who got folk 'shamed of bits that shake
and would have had them cover up
the parts God made to help them 'tup'
and, in woman's case, suckle young
upon the breasts on top half hung.
To those who down the ages blame
women for man's fall, I'd cry 'Shame!
You've been barking up the wrong tree ...

Waiting -
I watch from rooftops
like afternoon sunlight,
the partially
shingled building
clamors
with each stiff wind
speaking like the dead,
plucked flowers
drift aimlessly
between
gravestone pathways,
waiting to decipher
peace
in the steps
of angels.

Love letter to my church
From this pit of frustration
I cry out
Will no one join me?
Does nobody see what I see?
Such a sweet loving family
of navel-gazing sinner/saints
imploding into
comfortable
apathy.
The King has left this building.
He's out hob-nobbing
with the desperate --
those who are so empty
of answers and self
that they actually have room to receive love.
No, not that saccharine-starry love
