cata-corner you...Feng Shui your insides...
prep you through multiple reps...pace you thru the steps
rake you over my Spiritual coals
bend you over...face mushed to mattress...bottom line you from the back
deep stroke your interior...slow stroke your intellect

Overcoming Fear
It wasn’t so much the fear of what happens after death
But the constant guilt over things beyond my control
It just felt like many of the decisions I made in my youth
Were based on the premise – I was trying to save my soul
And yet for some reason it felt like something was missing
Many of the things I saw and witnessed didn’t make sense
I had lost faith and found it and lost it over and over again
And until the veil was lifted it stripped away that innocence
Then I believed I’d achieve something with a bigger purpose

The Almighty
Because of sin
The death
Has gained ground
in human life
The earth
has become cursed
The wickedness

The payment

Only
the sacrifice

The son of god took human flesh
came to the earth and died on the cross instead of me.
He died and resurrected the third day
He is the glorious king forever.

I woke up surprised
I remember it vividly
It was all about forgetting everything
That night it happened was a first of many
By the end, I took more than twenty
It was all about forgetting everything
That night it happened was a first of many
By the end, I took more than twenty

Eid of Light and Longing
The crescent rose; the night stood still
A whispered joy; a sacred thrill
Though hunger knocked and pockets sighed
Still we prayed; still we tried
Eid has come; the air is bright
A morning bathed in golden light
Children race with laughter free
In clothes that dance like poetry
The markets roared; the butchers grinned
The scent of spice and meat within
Some feast with plenty; some with few
Yet hearts are full where faith is true
Oh Allah; let this joy remain
Let ease be poured where once was pain

It Was Very Good
In those moments as I rocked gently over Shawn,
I suddenly felt the thoughts of past lives swirling in my head.
I continued rising and falling against Shawn’s firmness
while watching feelings of guilt drifting through an open window
as if pulled by a draft into the night sky.
I felt fears, loss, and brokenness falling from my body
and being pulled into the night.
I was in the moment and felt Shawn’s presence within me,
but I’d stepped back like a witness,
observing without judgment.
Gradually I came to realize ...

The Upbringing
Your parents have a problem and you live in constant pain
Your atmosphere is darkness as you begin to go insane
And the way you're going, you'll turn out the same
You hear the words of wisdom as you practice what they tell
You follow your parents teachings, as they threaten you to hell
And the way you're going, you'll turn out the same
My advice to you, is to follow what's in your heart
For if you don't, you'll be finished before you ever start
And the way you're going, you'll turn out the same
Your atmosphere is darkness as you begin to go insane
And the way you're going, you'll turn out the same
You hear the words of wisdom as you practice what they tell
You follow your parents teachings, as they threaten you to hell

Myth Haikus
Thoth
Scroll of stars unfolds,
wisdom flows through measured time.
Eye records it all.
Gilgamesh
Walls rise to the sky,
friendship forged, yet doomed to fade.
Mortals seek their name.
Tupă
Thunder splits the night,
roaring whispers through the storm.
Creation takes breath.
Amaterazu
Hidden in her cave,
sunlight fades, the world grows cold.
Hope draws her to dance.
Shango
Drums thunder the sky,
lightning splits the heavens wide. ...

I kneel before him in prayer, caught in a whirlwind of
a man who stands at the pulpit of a Dallas church.
There's an energy about him that I can't escape,
nor do I wish to.
Even when my body feels weak,
I yearn for his presence.
Sleep loses its allure when
weighed against the possibility of
basking in his warmth.
I want him inside me. All the time.
I want his weight on top of me.
I want to squeeze him in deep.
The ache of this longing
is the sweetest hurt.
My arms possess a strength
born of...

I know your heart is wicked
Little Harry Sack was barely 6 years old when he found out by his parents that his heart was wicked
His parents were religious fanatics, who read the good book each and every hour
They isolated little Harry from the rest of the world
His father worked on the farm producing milk & meat to sell in town
His mother was a stay at home mom, strict and overbearing
Many of the locals didn't even know Harry Sack existed
His parents taught him that in order to be faithful to the lord, you must do what we say or want
Harry was given chores from morning...

Judgement Day (ReMix --- Timely as F !)

personal hygiene
worse
than a monkey's uncle
stinkier than
a skunkle
constantly amidst
rhetorical rumble
somehow positioned
and in process
of making
Advancements tumble
was he behind
the back draft
of notre damn?
either way
not nearly matching
the shame
her ancient
institution arcane
perpetrates
through the ages
and nuff
of her "sages"
