I was taught by my father
How to build a fortress
A Cinder Block Castle
With high heartless walls
Where I play scratched records
On the tip of my flawed claws
Hoping for different endings
My insanity was given birth
Seeping into the concrete

Men in the Feminine Products Isle
How many men have stood in the feminine products isle
Looking bewildered and confused by piles and styles
Knowing their wives or girlfriends sent them on a run
And it’s urgent so they know this shopping is not fun
Oh the deer in headlights look of these young men at first
Talking on their phones asking her before it gets worse
Eyes cast down embarrassed that it’s come down to this
But they better get right or else she may get pissed
And when two men walk by each other on this isle
They greet each other with a slight nod and...

When Things are Right - Collaboration with NightGoddess
When things are right, you can just taste it. Simple things can make your day, like the cheese melting on a perfectly crusted slice.
As chef, I was responsible for that imported mozzarella slowly congealing at the right temperature and tempting the juices on my tongue as if nothing else factored into its perfection.
It was like that when I saw her; everything was just perfect. Wearing a tight black dress with an overlay of lace, sheer in areas that would have made any one else blush, I stayed strong, and remained in control. Yet, as she turned, I found my eyes wandering...

Same Shite
Why would I want something new?
When it's the same shit on a different day?
When I can focus on my goals & dreams,
Without someone getting in the way?
I am over the rush
of looking for more,
My heart doesn't flutter
Like it did before.
There isn't anyone out there,
Worth my time,
No one worth messing with my emotions,
Or fucking with my mind.
I am cut off
in the most selfish way,
And I don't care if you care,
Not today.
When it's the same shit on a different day?
When I can focus on my goals & dreams,

it's like clockwork
this is just like any other day
it's time for my dinner
i want to feel her soft skin

our engines ran faster the one in my old Chevy Vega

of standing motionless

in blatant curiosity

Today is a good day
I choose to see a horizon ruled by venus
Call me naïve but everyday
Being hopefull is a bonus

Even if my struggles have been epic
My resilience is what i'm most proud of
