RAIN
Rain brings ample emotions
Melancholic for some,
Often a wave of notions..
By peasants it is often cherished,
But, the toddler who longs to play
It's departure is deeply wished..
To ones feeling lonely and dejected,
It's the clouds accompanying his sorrow..
For he does not find pleasure or desire
To see the sweetness within the morrow..
Some its a celebration with love,
While others parted by distance
Send messages through as if a dove..
Rain brings ample of emotions,
Excitement and joy for some ...

On a oculus

Of green
Beans in
The garlic bread
Where ivy

After They Took Off The Clothes
After they took off the
clothes drenched by
the summer rain, they
stared at each other
and had a threesome.

umbrella rain
No. 4 from The Children’s Collection]
“Rain never understands why people hide under their umbrellas!
Let us make a surprise to the rain by closing our umbrellas!”
–Mehmet Murat Ildan
i'm not afraid of walking in the rain,
although some folk may grumble and complain;
i like to feel rain rhythms on my face,
as shoulder to shoulder to earth they race.
my brother showed me how to drink the rain
by lolling out my tongue, and how to crane
my neck until my face was parallel
with where the...

Perfect Summer Night
Eyes closed like the whispers of pillow talk
A cold front coming over the horizon making me balk
Stripping the summer heat from the earth
Lightning electrifying the air giving me mirth
A slight drizzle like a kiss upon my skin
Ever so slight like the promise of a night full of sin
When it's ripped away as the wind whips up a gale
The lightning rips the dark sea of clouds asunder without fail
Squinting against the night becoming day
Falling back into the yard I lay
Soaked to the bone
This weather reminds me of home

Summers Rain
nostrils flare
hint of petrichor
giant droplets fall sideward
propelled by howling winds
from darkened sky
drenched atmosphere saturating
cooling overheated flesh
blinding flashes pursue distant thunder
power and moisture
soothing souls

When looking in your eyes
At the bus station
Friday
That day our eyes first caught
the others reflection
A grayish blue
was the hue
The compassion of one that runs
to pick up a fallen companion
Behind blue eyes though
We hide our shadows
If that which is concealed
for what ever the reason maybe
Can not be discarded
then surely it shall return
Howling
Haunting
creeping
Clawing at the very essence within
Over the years watching you battle
Through the trauma
the agony
the scars...

To continue
There's a murder of cows,
a herd of crows
resting in the sweet of a chestnut tree.
It's all or nothing.
I take her into the mire
and we come out cleaner,
make a pack-horse of the spine of me
by a gate,
she climbs a stone wall,
minds the barbing -
the pooling is too deep,
soil too swamped
for her tiny feet,
the ground a slick hazard,
made for riding,
we all have someone
willing to handle a hazard
to save our tenderest face.

The Ride
The Ride
I heard the shudder in your voice,
the melancholic trill
that told me everything -
it had been convincing
last time we'd walked in,
you were not bothered,
would not be -
after the rain had pushed us
out from East to West
we took to resting on a bridge,
arms left long upon that lichen-textured shelf.
You said that you loved her,
sighed it out, exposed us to it.
I watched that body unfurl.
Sunset burnt on like satsumas,
oozed onto our drenched, Autumn clothes.
I pooled my palm in...

Yesterday the rain
Yesterday the rain came,
not sky, relinquishing all of her splendor
but fists, wood, glass, skull,
the kind of relentlessness that leaves the body
fetal, the mind
barely the size of an atom.
I looked up the statistics,
analysed it against pay,
curled into a space of sound and smoke and leather
and waited for the real rain
to peel off the second skin
that comes when we all
feel afraid.

After We Got Out Of The Rain
After we got out of the
rain and stripped down,
we laid on the bed naked
and humped each other.
rain and stripped down,
we laid on the bed naked
and humped each other.

The best skies are partly cloudy,
Or partly clear, if you prefer,
As happenstance may be rowdy
And clarity a saboteur
Where turbulence is hard to see
When pressure stokes invisible...
To then commence chaotically
Like something metabolizable,
As when the sky seems most alive;
A vibrant essence to the air
Allowing thought itself to thrive
Like pride upon a foolish dare
Which huffs and puffs before it blows...
A fresh iota from Zephyr's nose!
