Sadly we're always being looked upon and critiqued
by people for whom we do and do not even know.
Simply by our title, occupation or possible association
or even by possessions we chose to or not to show.
We often judge by our nationality or ethnic color
sometimes even by the awards that we have received.
By an occasion or even often church affiliation
comes down to what we choose to or not to believe.
Why are we judged on what and how much we spend?
or even questioned why we gave or did not give. ...

It's bedtime for Bonzo and Hector Alonzo, Ronald Reagan didn't make it out of bed
So we stayed there all day watching Pretty Woman with that rug on top of Hector Alonzo's head
Dancing in circles listening to the Go-Go's, waiting for that moment we'ed all be dead
Raging and screaming while we did nothing, raging and screaming until the end
Dismayed by this ending and there is always an ending
Step to the side
Their story is about to begin
So get over the ashes that cleave to the wind
It's suppertime for Gumby a little hay for Pokey...

Did you cast your vote for the beast who tells false prophesies?
Who casts a dark shadow erected of opulent fallacies
Erections made and paid to mistress phallus fantasies
With taxpayer dollars transferred to lands with strange currencies
As the virus greed infects love with the hunger of his lustful needs
But what is love to an empty heart filled with silver coins it bleeds
He can't be Lucifer for he was never an angel to fall from grace

In recent days
the question’s come to me
if acts of hedonistic immorality
have power to destroy
one’s moral purity
I find it strange
that such a question’s raised
at all
because it’s plainly obvious
and indisputable
to anyone
of sense or sensibility
and not just to all those
who’ve read St. Paul,
and therefore know
a sinner’s wage is death,
the answer’s “yes”.
