I cried
( my picture of the eclipse )
I broke down and I
Cried.
The Sun
Had died
In the sky.
I could not
breath.
As much
As I wanted
To try.
I thought
Death
Had come.
I wanted with him
To fly.
Will the
Moon
Release her grip
Soon
Before she finally dies?
Will the
Light
Return again
Bright
On my tired Eyes?
Will the
World
Ponder this
Wonder or
As...
I broke down and I
Cried.
The Sun
Had died
In the sky.
I could not
breath.
As much
As I wanted
To try.
I thought
Death
Had come.
I wanted with him
To fly.
Will the
Moon
Release her grip
Soon
Before she finally dies?
Will the
Light
Return again
Bright
On my tired Eyes?
Will the
World
Ponder this
Wonder or
As...

I Worship The Night Sky
And nothing more
Except for you
Full moon
Half moon
It's never really
Mattered to me.
What does count
Is the moon shines
For you and I
The stars dance
Up in the sky
Bowing below
A moon washed sky
I wonder if
You're thinking of me
And missing me tonight
Except for you
Full moon
Half moon
It's never really
Mattered to me.
What does count
Is the moon shines
For you and I
The stars dance
Up in the sky
Bowing below
A moon washed sky
I wonder if
You're thinking of me
And missing me tonight

Still-born Tomorrow
Mysterious moon.
Lay up on the sun's hot fire
Still-born tomorrow.

Still-born tomorrow.

to seduce the stars
so many eons a lady in waiting
wearing my pain like jewelry I attack
masochistic lust turned violent when I am starved
a Sadist altered his eye and proved the sky red
to amuse himself and to provoke
I wore the sun as a halo and was mocked
until I swallow the moon and conceived
groomed as a seductress capable in the arts
I bring up his ardor and lick his skill
in the kingdom of whores I am Queen
arrogance becomes me when seducing a martyr
who will put me in my place in due time

masochistic lust turned violent when I am starved
a Sadist altered his eye and proved the sky red
to amuse himself and to provoke
I wore the sun as a halo and was mocked
until I swallow the moon and conceived
groomed as a seductress capable in the arts
I bring up his ardor and lick his skill
in the kingdom of whores I am Queen
arrogance becomes me when seducing a martyr
who will put me in my place in due time

Luna’s Allure
awoke from a dream
with divine gratitude
for Gaia’s
sentient gifts
stepping out onto
the dewy grass,
see it there
in the field:
fog flowing upward
from the pond,
billowing under
gleaming
moon beams
reaching out
for the stars;
luminous
in the early hours
of dawn’s awakening
levitating toward
a deep indigo sky,
curling
in suspension…
intrigued;
the brume dances
for Luna
in the twilight
with divine gratitude
for Gaia’s
sentient gifts
stepping out onto
the dewy grass,
see it there
in the field:
fog flowing upward
from the pond,
billowing under
gleaming
moon beams
reaching out

Initials Carved into Trees
Quagmire
Deep forest
Initials carved into trees
We left our love there
Moonless nights
Your youth running fever
My needs insane temptation
You seduced and challenged
Our lust serenade
No stone unturned

Paradise
I drove through a piece of heaven tonight.
It was exactly how I imagined it.
Airy,
liberating...
As I approached the other side,
waiting to greet me was the crescent moon.
Its light, so bright, felt like a hug
as it held me entranced.
I have never felt more at peace

keeper of shattered dreams
if you listen closely on a starless night
when chalked silhouettes caress forest floors
drifting listlessly
hopes without form
you can hear her liquid lamentations
murmur softly across gentle winds
as foxes burrow in restless slumber within their hollow dens
and screech owls raise glimmering eyes to ebon expanse
wings tucked tight against feathered sides
talons dug firmly into ancient bark
silent in their reverence
honoring her eternal sorrow
draped with shimmering silver broken dreams
she shelters the fallen within her bosom ...

my little boat
my
little boat,
sorry
to see
that sun
go down,
now
that misty
darkness
sank
closer
to the
treetops,
i weighted
my
little boat
in a
small harbor,
the moon
overwhelming me,
i lay
awake
to watch
the stars
in their
shadowy river,
falling asleep
in my
little boat.

Time to Leave
Facing the moon
silhouetted against grey mountains
a figure alone
without company
the day is done
seasons circle
as in autumn
leaves falling to the ground
tears as dew on leaves
falling, moistening the ground
and memories divine
just fading away
like ghosts departing before dawn
leaving nothing but faint whispers
murmured words breathed on mirrors
heavens don’t ever get dark
leave me a passage
with guiding lights.

Lost in Space - Europa
Walternate Universe Beta-2
“How did you get here? What’s your Alpha designation?”
“R-O-O-92” I replied to a council of five behind a desk
“R-O-O is not an Alpha designation” one of them replied
“How did you get that brace?” another one inquired
“I was brought to a citadel in Alpha 1”, I began to explain
Recounting the last nine parallel universes I’d been through
“My brace was damaged during a car crash
And I left my daughter alone in the cold on a bridge on Earth!”
“R-O-O” I heard some from behind me from others behind me ...

Ephah
It's late
I want to write
I don't want to read
nor scry
I don't want to design
consumeristic graphics
I simply want words
to emerge as the Moon
from behind clouds
illuminating the field
while I, as Ruth, glean
what's left behind
before threshing
the miniscule amount
into an ephah of poem
to carry home
~
