Time
Time lacks a door.
A way back.
Re-entry into the past is denied.
Left with the instability of the truth of you contained in all that's left.....my memories.
I lay on the cold ground of the hours, crawling yet devouring bye.
Time waits for no one.
Except in that single moment, I ran away to be with you. Your hazel eyes alive with lusts magic, time did stop.
I didn't know then, there was something wicked & unholy about the way your eyes scavenged over me. I accepted your dark delicious invitation. To an alliance that set out to steal my...

Like melted dark chocolate and lips of rose
(¡)
One glance
time falls away
our youth swirls memories
between us
lush flashbacks
take us there
when all we knew
burned the midnight sun.
(¡¡)
His charisma
aged like fine wine
weakening resolve
{low cleansing breaths
stealthily sucked-in}
piercing sable eyes,
were velvet warmth always burned
a melted dark chocolate gaze
unrepentantly pours over
purposely pausing
on my lips ...

Sucking Off my Past
Swore I'd never do this
Of course now I am
Found this pic while looking for something else
I remember it well
No camera phones back then
Good to see I was wearing all black
Prehistoric cool
Fast forward to now
Wait
Why bother
Ain't nothing now gonna match this pretty boy punk
Spread out some blow on a album cover
Grab a straight edge razor
Find a Bowie song on Spotify
Rock me all night long ...

Salt
Mornings are bone bright and raw,
Gut aching a lighthouse beacon,
Rotating in pea soup fog,
Memories flickering from some piecemeal vault
In this segmented fuck brain
That's always
Recalling
In geomorphic shapes,
Like some scribe cleric
Bent over a tome
Scrawling days into cuneiform:
Warm pretzel thick as cord
In my child's hands,
Sharp bullion bricks of salt
Embedded in the surface morass,
Sliding the scale
Into a navy blue blanket
Pulled overhead,
While the hunger...

El Greco!
Was not the name of this diner.
I don’t recall its name anymore.
It was torn down over twenty years ago.
Strangely-
given its prime real estate locale,
nothing has been built in its place.
What’s left are open space memories by those of us who frequented it in its hey day.
I remember its dark faux paneled walls. The fake Corinthian leather seats that made your thighs sweat in summer. Chipped linoleum table tops always sticky from who knows what.
If the cigarette smell didn’t offend you, the sour smell of drunken...

Ode to Berlin.
No, really. Some people like New York (cool place) or London (kind of stiff) or Paris, ma chère, but for me the top of the list is Berlin. You take as look at their public transport map, a nice rectangular shape with three zones: C is the outlying one which you will want to include if toy wish to visit the Great Frederick's palace at Sans-Souci. A man who did not like the military but who led troops and never lost a battle, as opposed to his father who lived to play soldier, but never saw any action in any war. Zone B is very nice, as it includes, in part the Science and Technology...

I never left
discerning waters, I am faith
troubling the deep, I am nothing
on the airs stirring the mists I fathom what I can not see
interpretation is not a gift I possess
I leave that to madness
waxing then waning pregnant with grief
tears taste of emptiness
charcoal filaments of honesty inspire me
darkness is mine
don't disturb the sleeping ache
restless need won't you leave me to my thoughts
I pace the skies echoing my visions
broken child of sin
reliving it again

Let The Chips Fall Where They May
COPACABANA APARTMENTS
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Levi stormed across the bedroom. He lifted Naynina from off Vacome.
Naynina fell over. Her presence met the carpet.
“You come into my girl’s house and fuck her in our bed!”
Levi snatched the lamp from off the nightstand.
“No, Levi!”
Vacome snapped his fingers.
Levi froze.
Naynina looked up.
Levi had the lamp over his head in mid-stride.
Vacome rolled over and got off the bed.
"Let's go."

She glows
She glows with this kind of light and radiance
Like wisdom of the ages
Of elder and sages that emanate love and patience
It’s truly a sight to see
But at this milestone
The now and distant past sometimes seem to get crossed
When lucidity flickers off for a moment
As if a faraway memory came back unexpectedly
Our hearts stop for a second
And it comes right back
We bask in this love
In recollections of simpler times
Of harder decades
Of youth
Of war
Of struggles that brings a family closer...

Mom's B-Day
Today is my mom's
birthday she had fun
today because she
spend it with her
family talking about
the good old days
So mom this poem
goes out for you
so you may have
many more b-days
with your crazy ass

Unbreak My Heart
Unbreak my heart,
let it beat freely again.
Release it from the chains of pain,
that bind it tight with a heavy strain.
Unshackle the memories that
hold it down,
let it soar like a bird in the sky.
Unburden the weight of my sorrow,
and let my heart once again fly.
Undo the damage that's been done,
mend the cracks and make it whole.
Unbreak my heart and make it strong,
so it can weather any storm.
Teach it to trust and love once more,
to open up and take a chance.
Unbreak my heart, let it believe, ...
let it beat freely again.
Release it from the chains of pain,
that bind it tight with a heavy strain.
Unshackle the memories that
hold it down,
let it soar like a bird in the sky.
Unburden the weight of my sorrow,
and let my heart once again fly.
Undo the damage that's been done,
mend the cracks and make it whole.
Unbreak my heart and make it strong,
so it can weather any storm.
Teach it to trust and love once more,
to open up and take a chance.
Unbreak my heart, let it believe, ...
