you never know when
lying down
relaxing in
a dimly lit
room
cigarette
in hand
smoke rising up
and fanning out
like a peacocks
tail
such little moments
in the quiet of the day
I smile

From Nature Into Eternity
Spring is here again, sending sunny shine, rainbowed with April's rains.Flowers and butterflies pirouette gaily in the field, and on the lea, there are as many poppies as the heart can host, and the eyes can fill the orb.
Everything is wildly wise, masterly conducted under heaven's orchestral wand,
Dare not just stain the primeval beauty of the creation, its fully complete, an idyllic Ambrosia and pastoral Arcadia, a stream of conscious Nature.......
It is wild as i watch, but my brain tells me this is the wisdom in its
natural notion i do not need to...

Best In Hue - Swatch 2
British racing green
was the color of dad's
beloved roadster
a 1950 MG TD
Recalling with what glee
he'd navigate our town.
Tweed racing cap worn
like a crown
the cars black top down
his crew of
pint-sized mechanics
perched on red
Upolstered rumble seat.
with wide grins
all the onlookers we'd greet.
The car long since
dismantled
and papa's recent demise.
forces me to see
through fond recollection's eyes.

Metrology Of Life
Why measure one's success
by their financial solvency?
As age overtakes me
I've had a profound epiphany
That true happiness
is not found
in things pecuniary
but free to everybody
The sky's not blue and sunny, and gentle breezes do not caress
only for those with money
A smile, a touch, a kiss, a hug, a tender word, a bedtime song
Are slices of joy everlasting
with love given gratis
to the poor, the rich, and those in between
In the end what really counts
Is what we've given
how we've got along
Not what's in ...
by their financial solvency?

Twilight Passed
As I stand at the edge of a cliff I find myself terrified of an ugly truth staring me in the face.
To jump off this cliff would be a terrible disgrace.
Despite the pain that has claimed sanctuary in my brain I prefer to move forward.
Today, I am just as appreciative of this puzzle called life as the thought of it's climax to erase the strife.
I beg you to listen to what I have to say in the hope that it can help you no matter the way.
It's better to suffer with the hope of a reprieve then it would be to end early with an untimely leave.
Brain cancer was hard, OCD...

Embracing The Aquatic - Heat 4
Summer, Saturday morning
hundreds of swimsuited kids
descend on their neighborhood,
or foes,
cabana club
and thus begins
the weekly swim meet.
Commencing with
brief warm up practice
followed by a long, tedious wait
for one's racing heat.
When at our home pool competing,
We'd spread our beach towels
on the grassy hill
overlooking the contest.
Biding our time
sunbathing, clowning around, and eating.
Mom brought chocolate covered donut sticks and boxes of strawberry Jello…our fingers and lips dyed...

BLUE GROVE
BLUE GROVE
INSIDE ROARE
My heart is small when the sun sets over the hillside.
uuuuuu
How is my mom? What does he even look like?
I know the region where bad luck smells, the region smells like May.
A larch grove hangs proudly over the valley.
I like the region where home smells.
How to caress.
I want to return there, I want to give life to it.
How many foals there were, how many girls passed by.
How much happiness, how much hatred was felt around.
I want to take the small warm mug in my hands again
and feel it...

Novella Chapter 1 The Longing
Chapter 1: The Longing
Brittney sat in her cozy living room, surrounded by the familiar trappings of home. Outside were the sounds of her two daughters playing after school. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow through the curtains, but inside, Brittney's heart felt cold and empty.
At thirty-two, Brittney had everything she had ever dreamed of—a loving husband, two beautiful children, a successful career, and a close-knit family. Those who knew her often commented on her beauty. She did work to take care of herself, but her attractiveness was the natural type,...

Free Money
I found a wallet
I ignored all credentials
Up 300 bucks
Feeling good right now
Yeah I know I'm a scumbag
You would do the same

WHEN I THINK OF YOU
A moon rises within it's slow glowing surge;
the tide recedes from the wet sand’s glimmer.
The cares of the day have begun to simmer;
and my weary mind upon me begins to purge.
The morning trees dance in meadows with dew;
as the sun rays shines in eyes awoken blurred.
Life unfolds a new calendar page that's turned;
these and all other moments I'm thinking of you.
the tide recedes from the wet sand’s glimmer.
The cares of the day have begun to simmer;
and my weary mind upon me begins to purge.
The morning trees dance in meadows with dew;
as the sun rays shines in eyes awoken blurred.
Life unfolds a new calendar page that's turned;
these and all other moments I'm thinking of you.
