Grief Stricken
Nothing left to be said
Words no longer have meaning
They have outran their purpose
There will be nothing left but silence
A silence that shall remain forever
No feelings left whatsoever
I will drown in my chosen solitude
Courtesy of my simplistic existence
Light no longer exists in my world
Darkness is all I now live for
Unknown path, am I heading towards something?
Or will I forever drift into an eternity of nothing?
Words no longer have meaning
They have outran their purpose
There will be nothing left but silence
A silence that shall remain forever
No feelings left whatsoever
I will drown in my chosen solitude
Courtesy of my simplistic existence
Light no longer exists in my world
Darkness is all I now live for
Unknown path, am I heading towards something?
Or will I forever drift into an eternity of nothing?

Different Spin
Too many faces are only memories now
Not so clear anymore on all the stories
It seems time closed the door somehow
Running off the fumes of passing glories
Innocent witness being lead to slaughter
Blood laced misery saturates murky water
Silence eats slowly on words never said
Guilt suffocates happiness into despair
It’s been a life sentence inside this head
Unable to blink while sinister eyes stare
Defeated demons will often return again
Same blueprint hidden in a different spin

Mother Natures Last Walk
Walking in the soft white
With no direction
All I know is my heart is cold
The air freezes with every exhale
Creating intriguing flakes that drift
What have you done?
Some mistakes cannot be repaired
I gave you a home
Nurtured you
Now
I will walk the path to my end
What can a mother do to show her love?
I gave you me
Once the last bloom on the tree of life blooms
Remember how I once was.
Remember the soft summer nights.
When the rose and the orchids perfumed the air
Remember the sweet fruits...

plea
keening deep within
melodic pain plays quietly
the victim stirs
a casualty of fate
designed to fail in time
the body withers away
and inside I break
there is no reprieve
my delsuions carry me away
my heart can't face the news of today
thoughts darken then grow bright
let strength find me
give me succor in my time of need
I'm in shock and don't know how to cope
carried away on a river of tears
sighing within feelings like I might faint
my husband is my life
I'm no good on my own ...

Sometimes God Makes Broken Babies
Missing parts
And broken hearts
So little girls
Can become little women
Always looking up
And asking
Why the fuck
Did you make me
Like this?

Always looking up
And asking
Why the fuck

When I Am Gone
( After William Butler Yeats
for WH Auden )
When I am gone, euthanized by days' end,
My physical housing no longer apt;
And you, by water's edge, grieving, enrapt
Of moments, lingering as perfumed skin;
Eyes reflect greyish waters of the stream,
with teeth, white as river rock, sun-bleached
Atop the sandy current's countenance;
Flaxen hair, as sea grass in a marine,
Waving; and amid the reflection see
A clear resemblance: features that are yours,
Drifting within...

Knight In Shining Armour
About to strike from behind the enemy lines
As my cavalry arrives
And I won't hesitate in taking out so many lives
With my deadly devices
My advice for you only appreciate it if we ever meet in paradise
Only! When you realize this is a sacrifice
It pains me, but I still hope it doesn't in the afterlife
Let's see who'll be the last man standing
He who survives
Taking all of you by surprise
On the road on which I thrive
Ease this harness let me sit back
And enjoy the ride ...

A method to the madness
For sure whatever is the reason there's always an responsible method, to the deepness of the madness, that you and I must truly understand that behind everything. There's a reaction with a raw and uncut point of consequence, that will affect us in ways. THAT sometimes don't make sense. 🤨 BUT yet it's still apart of us, through the process of the journey and travel and walk. THAT we must never forget how to navigate, through the process of what is happening in our lives. FOR sure everything, will stay with you in high sight of trying. Desperately to forget but you can't forget the...

Fragment of a Story
She thanked friends and family for the October anniversary wishes, never knowing
It would be their last. He would die the next August. You just can never know, when
your time is expired. You are just ash from the fires. How do you know when your
days are numbered or the fragility of your slumbers?
She burned with an agile agony. There was a strange ease to the excruciating days.
Despite them pounding through her veins. To the borderline of sane. Despair dismantling
the hostage of her brain. As she slumped against his aging grave.

WALK AMONG THE TOMBS
AWAKENING
Taking a few minutes
to escape from the asphalt
world, media hype, and
pressure for more,
I spend time walking
through the graveyard with
tombs dating back 3 centuries.
The weather has worn the epitaphs
off hundreds; time has faded
the angels engraved in stone.
The newer graves have pictures
of the departed loved ones.
Some graves cost thousands,
vaults millions, and some free
to paupers. All share the same end:
DEATH
Millions have been spent
on fading and dying flowers.

I Miss you Mom
Will be 5 years in November
Last time we spoke was on November 5th
2014
It also happened to be my birthday
Flew to Florida
She was sick
In the hospital
Tubes everywhere
Trying to hold on
She made it 2 more weeks
Worst weeks of my life
Finally passing to go see Dad
I think of them often
Daily actually
Always there on my shoulder
Looking over me
Protection
Sitting on the couch yesterday
Staring out the window
It came to me profoundly
In the rough and tumble of my day ...
