She Rises
With spirit and determination
Her lifeforce spread like fire
Every single feather - a blaze
A wingspan more than what anyone could ever measure
A rite of rebirth and regeneration
Baptized in flames
And us poets
With glassy eyes witness
How she rises
A reawakening from beyond this realm
How the words spoken
Can help heal those of us who are broken
As a testament
Leaving behind a legacy

The Last Voyage of the D.U.P.
The last voyage of the ship, the D.U.P.
Has been given a deadline to meet its fate
But in the meantime everyone gets together
Its members come aboard to celebrate
In the engine room the rhymers are rhyming
Spittin’ unforgettable fire like writing memoirs
Saying their farewells to this magical place
Like catching shooting stars in verses and bars
In some dark corners the erotics are still spilling
Titillating and tantalizing making readers sweat
With palpable deliveries amidst the festivities

Eternal Love
Some people call it fate and some would call it destiny.
But what we have has much more depth I have searched eternity.
Each lifetime that we meet we have been threw heartache and deceat.
But this bond we hold is are love untold let's make a foundation that's concrete. Our eternal love will always hold my heart .
Just like davinci's life work our passion and love is like art.
I know you have doubts I had them too.
But A life with out you is not a life I wish to see threw.
No matter what we do our love is beyond...

I just wanna live
As I am a firm believer that I want to live my life, as I continue to stand and fight for this precious life, that I love and want for my wife and family and friends, to be able to live. For what I can relate to the most is when I thought about seeing myself, as I was feeling that I wasn't going to make it to see another day. But yet God Almighty insured me it's going to be alright, even with the process of dealing with different stages of cancers that took control over my life. On precious memories

Hooking our words to create a chain
-Shall not break

The Wayback
The clock is ticking so there is no time to argue or dispute
The doors will close soon so I’m trying to enjoy every minute
I’ve become more aware of things that are even so minute
Appreciating and understanding that poetry has no limit
In retrospect, in all the years we’ve spent on this airship
We’ve been able to view and read a myriad of stars
We crafted and created compositions and friendships
