Reading the Future in Braille
I cry in my poems
I cried long ago
but all my sins are known
and the scars are healing except
the ones of my making.
I walk in the dark
but read the future in braille
missteps and curses aside
I'm doing just fine
now is all that matters
This place, this time, this now
holds the magic of our lives
and the simple joy
to be ourselves
we have always been free
Do not speak of love
nor talk of the soul
words of hidden chains
say instead ...
We are not blind to each other ...

New Beginnings
It has been so long
Since we have been alone
It brings back memories
Of you and I
Sweet kisses, I miss
In the moonlight
Tender touches, I reminisce

You look so good
I never understood
Why did it have to end

Suffering from apathy
Even if we don't speak,
you hold a place no one can seek.

breakfast
breakfast
We have views of the ocean
that today looks as poets, say "sun-kissed"
ok, so it is winter sun
sitting inside looking out, it doesn't matter
our first meal of the day is modest
toasts, cheese, and sliced bananas
I have glanced at the morning papers
on the net, the London -Guardian covers
news, but I care less about some contributors
who are biased towards, Russia and repeats
the same lies about Putin
also against Trump
None of this matters today the view is
of the sea, is marvelous and the TV is...

She’s beautiful to me
And it’s easy for me to let her know it
I can’t keep my hands to myself
When she’s around
I’m captive to her brown eyes

A Warped Tree
Today, when not arguing with Walter the Jew on Facebook
the ambiance in the house was surprisingly calm since
I got a key to my study in peace to read my latest collection
and found, at times, the poems had an internal rhyme and
were little stories
The pity is that I have to write without a publisher
can't afford to hire one; those I dare to ask run a thousand miles
one of them, a poor man, is a lecturer at Udevalla
Last year, I visited a crooked tree so shy its roots curled
in bashfulness, and its leaves took an autumnal color ...

Dust
They are fooling you all.
Calling an elephant a cat and because they hold probability and predictability to a certain extent, you believe they hold some sort of knowing.
The mind and the heart work in conjunction with one another, but neither without the Spirit, and for the most part should both be resilient and soft, loving and stern, caring and relentless.
The mind has no emotion without the heart strings attached, and yet the heart without the brain continues to beat. The heart has its own electrical supply, think about that for a moment...

she left me for a woman
She left me for a woman.
What can I say it just happened . a lost puppy
she avoided me at first but ate the food
skeptical in her young life, she has suffered
cruelty
I was watching TV when she decided to
throw her lot in with me, but he head on my
left food, how did she know I was a lefty
sat for an hour, not daring to move

Decisions Need To Be Made
There's a tumor on her spleen, nodules in her lungs, and an even bigger mass than the one they removed two years ago along with her ovaries now pressing on her lower organs and prohibiting proper functions of her bladder and bowel. She called me yesterday asking me to intercede for her and talk to her Dr.
You gotta understand, my mom is such a control freak, nobody takes charge over her life, especially decisions over her health.

Not a good start
Certainely not a good one.
Didn’t end well too.
But it’s fine
I loved the moments with you.
Even if they were not made with me,
She was here before me.
she’s pretty, smart and kind too
if one of dies, i hope it’s me
coz i dont wanna be here without you.
Maybe that’s my core.
Making my life about someone else.
Darling, still remember,
even if I’m six feet under,
I’d listen to you talk about your day.
Certainely not a good one.
