Forest Poems
#forest
Poems about forests and woodland. Teeming with life and the beauty of nature, trees and everything that goes on in the dense and tangled undergrowth. Forest poems, about the light and darkness of the forest, and nature's cycle of life and decay.
our world
Our World
This is not a day for clear sky and sun
This is not a day for jubilant spring
This is not a day for summer drizzle
This is not a day for crisp snow
This is not a starlit night
This not a time for love and romance
This is a day of grief and mourning
She gave us a fertile world
What did we do?
We polluted her rivers and sea
We stole her precocious minerals
We befouled her scented air
We lay waste to her forests and land
We killed the fauna
Worst of all, we stole her beauty
This is not a day for clear sky and sun
This is not a day for jubilant spring
This is not a day for summer drizzle
This is not a day for crisp snow
This is not a starlit night
This not a time for love and romance
This is a day of grief and mourning

The Lily poetry.
Once upon a big Sunday 💵
She dug up muffins
And sandwiches
Like raw polka dots
Flowers she run you through.
Windows winter always
The buddy Friday night
And the people who are
The most beautifully
Landscape green🟢 beans and chicken🐓 coogrer.
And the miles of miles music
Bard.
To romancen
Regards
Essex Lynny.

LONESOME CHICKEN SONG (3-26-1988; Trinidad, Humboldt County, Northern California)
all my friends
be outside
cluckin in the yard
life up north here
in all the wet cold and fog
dense redwood forests
filled with head high ferns
and fallen moss covered logs
really ain t so hard
to live amidst and bear
it just gets kinda lonesome at times
especially after six long
cold months
of livin so isolated
way up north here
all on my own alone
except that is
for all my only other
fine feathered friends up here
i get to visit and see twice a day
who all be outside right...

From an Angel’s Wing
Leaves, flowers, and evergreens
mingling together with the brightest pop of red
as the autumn sun streaks across an open sky
bathing nature’s paths in splashes of golden orange
while there hidden in the forest shadows
a tiny feather pure white as an ocean wave.

A KIND OF INTERCOURSE IN NATURE
The gentle flowers of the meadow are all femininity.
The erect trunks of the trees of the forest all masculinity.
So the place where forest and meadow meet = a heterosexual union.
A realm of romance.
A sort of intercourse between two opposites in Nature.

Long Ago
The dark castle in the deep forest
A princess is resurrected
During the second birth
The last battle of possession
Cosmic keys to the creation of earth.

what (they call improvement)
rows
and rows
of established
trees
cut down,
animals displaced
from
their homes,
the land
stripped,
life giving
waters drained,
all for
the sake
and benefit
for mankind,
and this
is what
they call
improvement.

unconditional love
how
the earth
could still
love and
take care
of us
unconditionally,
even if
we act
as spoiled
children,
trying to
hurt her,
maybe one
day, even
murder her.

Giving Tree
For countless years, I've stood tall,
Witnessed many moons rise and fall.
Against time's storms, I've held my ground,
Gathering stories, a silent surround.
Beneath my branches, seekers sought shade,
In the sacred land where my roots are laid.
Mankind, a mystery, strange and unique,
Yet, as your needs shift, destruction you seek.
Life courses within, tears quietly flow,
Sadness echoes when fierce winds blow.
Generous offerings, yet one more demand,
Felled to the earth, by the saw's firm hand.
No...

Life of a Tree
Deeply rooted in the womb of
Mother Earth
Branches stretched out to the sky
I connect this planet with the
Spiritual realm
Being a tree I am more awaken
Than I was in my life as a human
Once I was an insecure woman
Full of doubt without self-esteem
Now I live in widening circles and
Trust in nature's cyclical unfolding
Every spring I am reborn
In full bloom
A bride of the man of green
Soon after I give birth to
Sweet summer fruits
Before autumnal storms
Ask me for the death dance
And I let...

Forever Sequoia
A witness to Earth's history.
Fire and storm resistant
and caring for the life that inhabits her.
Silent is a wise Sequoia
the oldest tree in the world.
And shares natural wisdom
with whoever listens.
Symbol of immortality and hope
and I say to those who wonder:
forever Sequoia.
Triumphant wood of life
and box of the essence of the world...
blood-sap running red!
A tree forever!
A vision of eternal beauty!

Witch.
She watches
As the time
Lays on my side
With
A
Dracula gren
Green on my side
I call the drafts and crafts for
Hay in the nestle morning
Once upon a time
In the grestled and greeted noon
Moon. The wolves devour
The sheep
The shower of fresh rain
Makes food yummy.
The rains in field
Smells blue green
And the graffiti if traffic
Is the tulips white
Dreams.
I dreams of
Gren Dracula
Past few days ago.
And the religion taken
For grafted.
