Naked Pink
Within a single day's blink.
Fuschia buds blossom
an exquisitely pale pink.
Impatient branches wear
their now exotic veil.
The leaves felt erotic
throbbing in the gale.
Wind ruffled petals,
Glisten with dew.
The stagnant empty winter
is now a voluptuous floral view.
The naked pink will call to you.

star watching
star watching,
casual glances
in april, those
rain showers
weeping
open promises,
leading flowers
to bloom,
those
soft petals
aching
to resume
their romance.

How roses reek
Bathing foster waters
multi petalled vines entwined
my torn skin would ache
a crown of thorns
lay opened
in mosaics
my strained ear would hear
light birds
my hands became
five petalled
fragranced heart
drying and pressing
flowers I burned

all ardently adorned
o rippled rose

Round Yellow

Tootsie Pop
Greedy nutrient
sucker
crippling draining
life from others
stinky mother-
(bother) !!!!
Once discovered
dfficult to eradicate
100 seeds per flower
& why maybe the
foul odor!
No flower petals
needed to defend
for It’s toxic to taste
and rancid scent
keep at bay

scent
folding,
unfolding
easily in
the wind,
your
decorations
observed,
your scent
detectable,
come
pouring out,
enough
to go
around,
the air
drinking up
what excess
my senses
cannot
carry away
of your
blooms.

Frida
she weeps in flowers
they grace her table
along with globs of paint
brushes stand in wait
aged and smooth from weary hands
stained with feelings of rebirth
slowly she paints
flowers convalesce
on a background
of muted tones
they flourish
each petal gracefully unfurls
easing her image
into a bounty of rich hues
where they are free to hang
bend without breaking
knowing no hardship
she imagines her
tears pooling in the vase
so clear and without the fog

Taraxacum

Taraxacum
Rooted underground but not very deep
It’s dandy to use in tonic or tea
Stems and leaves, this lion of a plant
can be found amidst the garden
jungle of flowers and weeds
Sold for a pretty price
if You’d rather use for salads
in lieu of spraying an eliminating
concoction to make
‘em go away
Bright yellows is its disguise
To cause our eyes to wonder
Some see it as a bother
some, like me,
see Food!

Cherry Blossoms
daffodils with petal snow
falling to the ground
from cherry blossoms in a slow
spiraling around
around around in the breeze,
transfixed by unheard sound
memory of winter flees
as they reach the ground
with honking geese in the sky
celebrating the
urge to leave, the time is nigh
to fly in a ragged V
to everywhere that's still wild
northern lakes now call,
watching, feeling quite beguiled
as cherry blossoms fall -
regenerated and recharged
by springtime's energy

capturing butterflies
it does not
seem fair
to follow you,
watch my
chance when
you land,
to drink,
intoxicate
yourself
on sweet
nectar,
to pin
your wings
back with
finger
and thumb,
to impede
your freedom.

Sweet Spring
Inspiration blows in on the wind
Open windows welcoming in
The warmth of the gentle breeze
Brings sweet scents for me to breath
Flowers blossom, I see the first few
Daffodils, violets, and magnolias, too
Birdsong chirps across the blue sky
A call I yearn to answer in reply
Optimism, the mood of the season
Gives me yet another good reason
To dig my hands in the dirt and be so grateful
That I am finally one with mother nature
Open windows welcoming in
The warmth of the gentle breeze
Brings sweet scents for me to breath

Pardon My French (Purging Energy)
You fat face freak
Its time I Dallas that ass, do not confuse the Queen with the Ghost
She is cherished, I am the in between host. no rules other than ones I make
Until I have to strangle the snake
It feels good to shed the skin of the past only to return to the roots of its the duality of my wholeness, the bitter shied of my glory
In love, my heart, in discord, yours, it about the rites of purgatory
You have been found gully in my court
My words from here you shall choke
It feels so good to be in the element of my natural smoke

painting every space
i want
to paint
every space,
every shelf,
every curve
within
my house,
with colorful
foliage,
with blooms,
decorating
so many
containers,
to dress
my house
up in
spring flowers,
changing
her clothe
once summer
is in
her closet.
