Life Lessons pt 2 (England)
One year later, turning fourteen should not be a pivotal point in anyone’s life. Spoke too soon.
Mom told me and my sister we were all going to England to visit family for the summer. We did not know how to feel since we had never met them before. We left when the sun was setting in the city. It was a beautiful site to see through the small circular window of the plane.
She gave both of us a piece of gum and we thought that was strange since we both have braces and are not allowed to eat it normally.
“Chew it and swallow when we take off. It will help with...

Join me for a drink
Let’s all raise a glass
to the end

Cheers

May you rest in peace.
We wish you well,

It ended democratically
By the choice of the people
Salute

It was fun while it lasted.
A choice was presented

Life Lessons pt 4 (Revelations)
(It did not rain all the time in London. The sidewalks were cleaner. Older Londoners love to have tea with milk and cookies. I remember there was also a thing about flowers in the front yard and it had to look better than someone else’s)
This was our last week in the UK. David and I were allowed to see each other as long as there was an adult nearby.
My sister and I and the other cousins went to meet up with some of their friends from school. These are the same bunch of girls that offered me the cigarette.

Third Space
(This is the beginning of a Sci-Fi Fantasy, that I may or may not publish. Just another side of me)
Don’t you hate opening a book and it starts with a question? Life does not happen that way, at least not in my life anymore.
I wake up every morning to routine and I love it. Nothing to make my mind spiral out of control. It has not always been that way of course.
In the beginning, there were so many questions that needed answers. Actions taken that I did not understand so again I needed answers. The constant need to question and get these...

The Renards
Once upon my time. There was a small person. Well not as small as the smallest but not as big as the biggest, either.
This person walks around in the world seemingly invisible to all unless there is a need to be seen.
Today this person was certainly needed. Rin of the Renard’s heard the summoned plea on the wind and knew the time had come to be visible once again.
The Summoned
“Lily it is forbidden to call a Renard.” Julian stated in a whisper.
Julian, her sister, not by blood but by circumstances that she refused to relive. Since it...

Rememberance of the Four, Act One
O, it has been sung five times before
And it shall resonate in the future forever more
But for the Four I will repeat, in the rememberance of their name
Picture a land of beautiful peace, fabled and forgotten
One where sins were so few, and no ill men yet lived
Creatures both bird and serpent, standing on two legs
Praying to violent Gods, terrified of the world beyond
Stood hidden on this continent they called Firavon
There, from dirt came the humans
So innocent and childish
Toiling in the mud in survival
Their segmented hands...

I Don't Want Her To Miss Out On The Party
Peter looked around for Kimberly.
That Playboy Bunny laid on the sofa.
Then, she said "Happy Halloween."

How Mermaids came about
How Mermaids came about
As we all know that Neptune is king of the sea
Once many centuries ago Neptune wanted a daughter
Look for a mate could not fine
So he chose a fish to be his mate
She had to be slick smart and fast
He did so with his power turn the fish into human
In doing so she said when the time comes
Be half fish half human
They be called Mermaids and live in the sea
And seek out the weak and helpless and lost at sea
Now man seeks out to fine Mermaids of this fairy tail
Myth or not...

Thursday Night with John
According to your
bylaws I am supposed to
care about things of
dire importance to you.
Ever think that I give no
fucks about your interest?
Grimacing as I pretend to
hang on your every word.
I am doing exceptionally well
juggling the words and
keeping my eyes open.
Listening to your boring story about
marketing and advertising.
Not to rush the situation,
obviously, you want your needs met.
Paid hourly, I am counting
quietly those
remaining
seconds before
the new hour starts. ...

An eye for a tooth
After an intense game of Chutes & Ladders, Mary hailed victorious over Gary
As everyone knows, Gary is a huge sore loser
He also had one to many drinks that evening
Mary decided to showboat a bit
The showboating was in Gary's face
He didn't like this one bit
He told Mary to back off
She wouldn't listen
With an unexpected scream, Gary slugged her twice in the mouth, knocking a tooth out of her mouth
He then said, "See, you don't need that dentist visit after all. I helped you out."
Mary said crying and upset, "That wasn't the...
