The Still
The stream was cast a
severe steel blue.
Notions of heaven
feel true.
Behold the long smooth cascade
of waterfall.
The euphoric fluid showering
down my inner walls.
The surround was populated
by burnt orange and lemon leaves.
My spirit adopts a stature of peace.
Deemed a startling secret place.
Feel the still of the human race
severe steel blue.
Notions of heaven
feel true.
Behold the long smooth cascade
of waterfall.
The euphoric fluid showering
down my inner walls.
The surround was populated
by burnt orange and lemon leaves.
My spirit adopts a stature of peace.

Feel the still of the human race

Autumn Ecstasy
The surface of the stream possessed
an alien green glow.
From the reflection of vanishing trees
that anticipate snow.
Water cascading over slate rock
with a natural rush of glorious sound.
The water, a liquid ecstasy
free falling unbound.
The stream was in an
encompassing bliss.
To even find beauty
in the bold leaf carcass's.
an alien green glow.
From the reflection of vanishing trees
that anticipate snow.
Water cascading over slate rock
with a natural rush of glorious sound.
The water, a liquid ecstasy
free falling unbound.
The stream was in an
encompassing bliss.

Fall Comes Alive
My heart stirs
Like new life forming
Taking wing within my
Imagination
I see the countryside changing
Gold and red and silver
Flashing in the trees
As I go flashing by
Inside my own interpretation
Of Rushs' Red Barchetta
With the very same blasting
In my ears
Nothing chases me though
Save my hearts wild beating
Egging me on to greater heights
In my discovery of the new season
And though new life stirs in my heart
Outside life is winding down
Waiting for the wintry blasts
The covering snow so deep ...
Like new life forming
Taking wing within my
Imagination
I see the countryside changing
Gold and red and silver
Flashing in the trees
As I go flashing by
Inside my own interpretation
Of Rushs' Red Barchetta
With the very same blasting

Death of the Leaves
As my thoughts transform into dreams in a vast sky.
The barren trees lack our need to question why.
Although one tree bled scarlet berries,
invisible wounds very, from the severed leaves.
But the earth had seasons to achieve.
Leaves consumed in color naively fall,
joyous to be free.
They know not of decay, and that beneath a snow drift
they will stay.
In a starless abyss, an onyx void
Until buds of spring burst with joy.
The trees need not grieve.
For they have already forgotten
the death of the leaves.
The barren trees lack our need to question why.
Although one tree bled scarlet berries,
invisible wounds very, from the severed leaves.
But the earth had seasons to achieve.

Roam
Beneath the fractures and fissures of my heart's truth
Preserved in my earth are the fossils of you.
From the age when you roamed me.
To a blissful echo of groans and screams.
Do we ever truly understand
the hearts archeology?
Requires belief in things you cannot see.
Buried marrow deep inside of me.
From the age when you roamed free.
Now I roam an earth on fire with
red, orange & yellow trees.
Candy apple red, burgundy and blood that beats.
Lemon yellow, rust and tangerine.
My eyes with a secret gleam. ...

September
The developing chill of September
grazes the bones.
Falling leaves
will become little cyclones.
Foliage begins to proclaim & exclaim
deep vibrancy of color.
With the nostalgic beauty
for which I yearn & hunger.
Soon to be barren, gaunt trees
bid farewell to their vanishing leaves.
That finally lay in a state of decay
As the earth bereaved.
grazes the bones.
Falling leaves
will become little cyclones.
Foliage begins to proclaim & exclaim
deep vibrancy of color.
With the nostalgic beauty

Soon to be barren, gaunt trees

Nature's Anonymous
In a silent symphony of nature's anonymous
with untitled winds whispering to trees
as God is my witness harmonizing
with the birds and the bees
embracing seasons in Autumn's shade
as a medley of leaves cascade
with infinite horizons

Nature's Withered Shawl
The presence of twilight communicates the security
of moonlight leaning against the fence listening to
the leaves fall landscapes of nature's withered shawl
until they hit the ground turning to scarlet red
as the days grow cold over meadows and pine cones

Wind 10w
An Autumn tree
blushing,
she
lets me
disrobe her
slowly
blushing,
she
lets me
disrobe her
slowly

Hue of Gold Now Stoned-with Grace
The scent and taste of the wild winds
loosening the garter of Mother Nature
sowing tranquil silent seeds of serenity
listening to remnants of falling leaves
haunting hue of gold now stoned
gaunt and old now lay entombed
in nature's Fahrenheit of ecstasy
whisper of the wild winds
when petals fall one by one
under where skies are serene
falling leaves kiss goodbye
hues of gold haunting dawns
in nature's embrace lovingly fold
nature's beauty surrounds the living space
with the symphony of the earth, our rebirth
loosening the garter of Mother Nature
sowing tranquil silent seeds of serenity
listening to remnants of falling leaves
haunting hue of gold now stoned
gaunt and old now lay entombed

a place by which i walked
i see it through blind eyes
precious shadows,
it took a moment to realize
this shortness of time,
discussed and approved
unsuspecting,
those dark fall lights,
the wind, sang to me,
uttered word for word,
a place by which i walked.
