Periodic Table of Arguments
Oxygen, a fiery little redhead with a southern drawl, tapped her foot impatiently.
"Hydro, honey, you're fixin' to make a fool out of yourself. Carbon is obviously gonna choose me. We make water together, darlin'. Everybody needs water. It's the lifeblood of everything!"
Hydrogen, Oxygen's nervous little sister with a squeaky voice, wrung her hands.
"You're so bossy!" Whispering loudly. "So grabby! You hog all the electrons! I offer Carbon a nice, even share. Think of all the cool stuff we can build together – hydrocarbons, the...

Oh Elara, Where Art Thou?
Elara, a cartographer of the cosmos, traced the swirling nebulae projected onto the dome of her observatory. Dust motes, illuminated by the starlight simulator, danced like miniature galaxies. She wasn't charting constellations; she was mapping the spaces between them, the dark rivers where stardust flowed. Her grandmother, a woman who read the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves, called it "starmist," the veil between worlds.
Elara, a scientist, preferred the language of parsecs and light-years. Yet, sometimes, when the hum of the machinery faded, she felt a...

a broken scene seen from a bald sky
life slipping away like porcelain
broken branches
scattered origami flowers
tired cuckoos circling around trees
reality disappearing into the whirlpool of a blackhole...

The moon
I have always found the moon.
The embodiment of incantation.
That silver shine!
Those bewitching,
Enchanting,
Glitters!
Always
Delicate!
And mysterious!
Intricate in the dark forest
If I ever were to ask myself:
«How it would feel to be that way?»
I guess I’ll know the answer.

Black 'n' Blue
Climate change
Will, with utmost certainty
Worsen
As the worlds' parasitic leaders
Continue to flagrantly ignore
Both the science, and reality
As they continue
To rape, and pillage
Our tiny planet village
Many small countries, making big changes
But
If the big countries don't make changes
Then whatever the minorities do
Will have little impact
On slowing down
The overall destruction
Planet Earth is blue.........was blue
Not going green

Earth Navel
Earth Navel
She is the navel of the world
Who imbibes the silent sunshine
Of a golden autumn forest of light
That glimmers in the mirror pools
Of her eyes
That see into the heart of nature
And she grows like the tree rings
Of an ancient oak
That remembers the thirsty years
She is the mystery of Gaia
Whose lungs breathe the aeolian breeze
She drinks the quiet sunlight
Like a maple leaf
Pining for summer
When dusk dreams settle
In the chambers of her soul
Where the bird of paradise slumbers ...

Emerald Eyes of Flame
Halfway thru my rotation, I saw her. And time, for me, came to a stop. As it always does in the presence of Nyema Devine.
She looked as stunning as I remembered her being. Dressed much differently than our first encounter. Timeless in her unique, elegant way. Unchanged as only a goddess could be, yet looking both similar to and different from it in equal parts.
Honored and awed, I studied her. Her form. Her features. Her body language. Purposely, I avoided her intense, emerald-green eyes.
Knowing the import of her appearing in this public place, and aware...

The Garden of My All Inclusive Domain
Little demons play hide and seek
beneath leaves and flowers and petals
Lilies and daffodils throw tiny stones
playing keep away from garden gnomes
My domain now suffers the aftermath
as flowers lay bent, breathing in gasps
And sad little imps seek ambulances
hoping the wait's not too long
at the treatment center for mischief's mischances
To live within this garden is more than it seems
surrounded by the magic of soil, imps, and growing things
with tendrils of green seeping into dreams
we have...

Magnetic Fields
minute by minute,
hour by hour
day after day,
the Sun shares its power
with electric fingers
reaching through space
bringing something that lingers
as we each face
magnetic fields swirling
moving us on
spinning and twirling
carried along
we're all in motion
all of the time
in a plasma ocean
in which we find
all the many lifetimes
every birth -
all the rhythms and rhymes
here on the Earth...

Oxygen
Will your last breath be an exhale that just continues on until all air is gone?
Can it be anything else?
No more inhales.
No more anything.
No more you.
You never existed in the first place.
You were just an imagining in consciousness.
Things only touched a convention , never you.
You can't be touched physically.
Because you don't exist physically.
You're just attached to something created by contact with something else.

Ass-U- RE.... Upon The Stars
Within the cathedral of remembrance my dewy Creole skin you softly titillate
My passion, my desires, will be the rewards to thwart a downwards fate
I embrace as I whisper within the melodies to entice, allure the virility of muscular spines
Within the pages of my existence, once sought, caught, ruin, mischief, delusion folly, rash action, suffering eludes the destiny of my time
Darkness I blanket the weakness of thy mind
I am the light, the dark, I am the good, I am the bad, a Queen kissed by Father Time, the...
