Humidity
I can't imagine how Allied soldiers managed
In Winter in Europe during WWII.
The humidity is crazy.
In America we get cold. Ok, super cold
So we dress properly. End of story.
But in Europe the humidity gets to and through your bones
Never mind how warmly you dressed.

Strays
The cute little kitten was brought to the Vet.
Turns out the stray kitten was in bad shape
Blind, run over by a car, front left leg quite smashed
After all the possible care it was decided, regretfully,
To put it to sleep.
In Montréal a seven year old girl is victim of a hit and run
As she was on her way to school.
A refugee from Ukraine, in town barely two months
Here with her mother and brothers
Her father still back in Ukraine fighting for his country
She later died in the hospital.
Life can be so cruel.

Fluffy
Her name was Fluffy, a collie mix
I found her as a puppy living off of garbage and shit
She didn't know any better, she was no more than a babe
With a pat on the head and a lick, a bond was made
She followed me back home with a little coercion along the way
Everytime she saw something she wanted to stop and play
A butterfly fluttering or a dragonfly darting by
She couldn't catch either, but she still gave it a try
While catching up here and there, trying to nip at my feet
Any bark off in the distance and she's accepting defeat ...

You ask me these questions, like I'm the one to answer

Blue Hair Rant
My dudes, I gotta tell you something
My hair was so long... And just dozens
I mean dozens of shades of blue
It'd sparkle in the sun and was bright
Cold showers and color shampoo and conditioner
Samson had nothing on my hair routine
Then I got sick and those doctors and nurses
They dont treat people with colorful hair right
So I cut it... So I wouldn't die from their bias
I really miss my hair, but they'd still treat me wrong
If I went and dyed my hair to blue again
It's such shit... To have to do something
That saves your life...

To eat their Eiffel Tower look-alike wedding cake
