Moistened lips and the devil's kiss
Disobeying God by nature's law
The fetish of the nec-romantic witch
Bled on outer altars
By the ancient gods
Of haunted mausoleums

In the day day day
Late late late
On this unimportant date
Blink once twice and I missed it
Blinding speeding rate
Wearing down the weather-worn
Can’t find the pearly gate
Misguided indirections
An angel lost, he sings
The map says it is so:
Purgatory brings
