Vegan Café 1st Set of Mayan Haiku
jaguar priestess
tattooed in Mayan glyphs
basket of sunshine
bonnet
of bougainvillea petals
wreath of sun flames
earth birth
inked on her cappuccino back
Popol Vuh
elders chant
to bongo drums
earth’s heartbeat
lake texcoco
shimmers in moonlight
her sheen
roots descend
from banyan boughs
her cathedral

migrant workers
the pain is etched
on each face,
heavy loads being carried
under constant strain,
moving to gather crops
in the blistering sun,
weathered skin
under shaded hats,
bone, muscle and souls
all sore and tired,
moving back and forth
finishing the day's labor,
still overworked and underpaid
so a few rich can have more,
while the poor are nourished
by strong will and determination.

Blades of Grass Tipped Wide
Blades of grass now tipped wide
stood a garden upped and died
bones of yesterday's memories
now winds for the silent butler
and a deserted old parking lot
with echoes from the asphalt
pulling up yams with age spots
for a reality taxidermy TV show
stood a garden upped and died

Honoring Your Inner Divine Sanctuary
Ladies, please make sure you check your breasts for the last month of 2023
Where has the time went, I truly hope as you cross the throne into a New Year
May you continue to monitor your health with regular yearly physicals, bloodwork, implement a healthy diet, and that also consists of exercise
If you are incapable get a stress ball and utilize it to keep the body healthy, and positive thoughts to keep the mind functioning in its purest form
Whatever your theology is, pray, chant, or as me, meditate to keep passage to you Creator clear

in the end
IN THE END
Did it matter who was the master
and who was the slave?
who won the battle
or who lies in the grave?
Does it make a difference
who gave over to hate?
or who sent love in a kiss?
Do we care if its true or a lie?
Do we know what wins and what loses?
what is to be done and what is not?
Do we see the trees or just the leaves?
Do we hear the song or the music?
Who was to blame and who is innocent
will it change anything?
Who ruled and who was without a voice?
When will the...

be a man
BE A MAN
Be a man
stand up
man up
Be strong
Be hard
Be sexy
Provide
Protect
Worship
Give me what I want
be my King
no time for paupers
Need me
feed me
long for me
Come on
gun up
be the soldier
the priest
the lover
the father
Make my dreams
come true
He heard the words
and pulled the blanket
back over his body
Another man stood
in the usual queue
for the food bank
he remembered the words

graffiti
all i
could see
through
the
dirty window
in the
subway
as i
looked out
were pastel
filled moments
of graffiti,
plastered
like fields,
wildflowers,
each belonging,
changing
as
my ride
continues
uptown.

A Spiritual Pilgrimage (Purple Candle)
Close your eyes and slowly inhale the touch of the wind
It speaks of old Negro tales the ear refuses to lend
Sacred whispers of the Middle passage as ships on troubled waters braved
Christened by the dark depth as weary souls wade
Captives of past generations residing in cramped living quarters on a journey to a new frontier
Only to fall prey to savagery, more brutal than killing the buffalo and hunting the deer
Shh… can you hear the echoes give us freedom as it bemoans
Hope and...

Ordained
Ordained by the tip of my staff
Angles lead by Joshua slaying everything in our wicked path
Cleansing the earth of ever deceptive foul slithering beast
Commence the night, and enjoy the bloody feast
Well, you bring this phantom into play,
I have two swords one to allure and the other to slay
Do I look like I am remotely worried, no one in Heaven even knows your ancient demonic name
The headless demon severed, shitted, and pissed on, still wallowing in self-pity, and earthly shame
And now you are starting to hear these...

The Ordained Rite Of Passage (The Oungan)
May the soft winds of my culture speak the faith of my tongue
May my Hebrew ancestors uphold the credence of my intellect
May my footsteps propel me forward where my pilgrimage will not be in vain
This incantation is about the wickedness of the human heart and sometimes, yes God uses his most humbling servants to do battle to balance the scales of good and evil, therefore, sometimes you most utilize the tongue of evil and the sword to castrate the wicked tree to make room to sow the reaping of good harvest.
In a better sense of judgment,...

The Miseducation Of The Hebrew Male
Where do I even begin when speaking on the Creator’s most trusted creation, and please allow my mind to set aside all bias notations of God’s men.
The center of his creation is the ideology of His rod and His staff.
His mantra of being surely must bring his path comfort and a of joy in the evolution of his existence.
The salvation of the Hebrew man Golden salvation from where he stands to the head upon where he rests his thoughts if found within the blessed confession from out his mouth.
Society would say why not his heart, why not his mind, why not in...

The Sacred Placenta II
I thought I would revisit this sacred topic and how the placenta is interviewed as being a consecrated connection between mother and child and the usage once it is expelled during the afterbirth.
What Exactly Is The Placenta In Detail
The placenta is a vital organ that connects the developing fetus to the mother’s uterine wall. It supplies oxygen and nutrients to the fetus and removes waste products from the fetus’s blood.
I would say, depending on a person’s customs and their culture’s most sacred beliefs, a woman’s placenta may hold cherished...
