walking to the coast
the splendor
falls
on clearer
further going,
the sun
watched
tracing down
days
of gray,
and then
a less
threatening
sight,
the wind
blew until
i felt
the circling
race of a
throbbing pulse,
and
the roar
of another
ocean.

this land

broken pieces
stretches away,
rolling out,
deep
seeded grounds,
the calmness
surveying
over
the landscape,
these moments
seen
as wonderful
paintings
i want to
confiscate
