one voice
do not try denying
every little struggle,
the cries and pain
from generations,
children weeping
in lands so selfish,
what destruction will play
if we forget
that it only takes
one voice
that could begin
to make a difference.

Wake Up!
Time marches on, relentless, unstirred,
Unaware of events,
Events that might alter
The very essence of our shared realm.
The cosmic web shifts, threads anew,
Neither the present
Nor the future
Can claim certainty's helm.
A mist obscures our collective sight,
Save for a few who stand in the light.
Fed with spoonfuls of crafted tales,
Our minds shaped to fit their scales.
We wander through life's foggy veil,
Like somnambulists on a well-trodden trail.
Conditioned beings in an endless cycle,

stormy eyes
Your love is manipulation
Creeping into the cracks of my walls.
Vines growing like tendrils
Splitting me to my core.
Tears feel like blackmail
Holding me hostage
While your helpful ways
Chain me to the floor.
I feel naked when you look at me
In ways bare skin never felt.
We fucked but love
Was never part of the deal.
There's rage in my eyes
And war in my hands.
You offer me safety and tenderness.
And all I can do is make you bleed.
Creeping into the cracks of my walls.

Living a Lie
She feels empty
Empty…
Like a jar
With no use, anymore.
She feels broken,
Broken like a doll,
That is missing a leg.
He touched her when she said no,
Now she’s missing a piece of her,
But what?
What could it be?
It was dark for three days,
Just three days
until she was shocked back to reality.
She’s lost trust in guys, men.
Men, greedy pigs.
Men, some are nice
But in the end, they want the same thing,
Sex.
She’s just like you,
A normal girl,
Who liked to...

unshockable
Unshakable resilience in the crucible of life has rendered my spirit
‘brave, strong and utterly unshockable.’ Bring it on!”—CAB
i've witnessed fire come down from heav'n,
smelting sand, steel, and stones;
survived the rape of nine-elev’n;
broken a thousand bones.
i've seen seas sweep swift swirling storms
that smother saint and sage,
and refugees torn from their dorms
like cattle in a cage.
i have beheld the prisoner rot
in gaol without a...

HEART VS BRAIN
I am on a race, Chasing my dreams
It is funny how my perception are being won by infatuation
What's right or wrong is an argument that will never come to an end
My vision was once fixed, not obscured but now, vision blurred.
Between knowing what is true and feeling what is real,
what matters most?
Looking at the journey i have taken
I see footprints of choices, but the path still unknown
My heart, a compass contorted, leading me to a direction so distorted
Am i missing logic or it is a foulplay of emotions?
I see my name written on a...

Sacrifice
I died last Wednesday, 11pm eyes closed
the voices of my mother and lover
pushing my mind in on itself
they came to an agreement,
and the timbres of their voices crashed
down about my feet until I was buried
each saw me as their sole possession
and neither would have me
for I could not choose between them
my mother saw my lover as a breathing sin
my lover convinced me I was right in loving
but he could not cut the cords of
silk and blood binding me to my mother
and so I died – in hope both could have me always

The Voyage
The day we met was the moment the ducks aligned on the water
A setting sun in the background, hues of blue and purple faded now
I didn't know that my heart would fall and drown in a crazy wreckage
The image of tomorrow has a faint shadow of you beside me in my head
I know that you will not be there with me as I move forward in the future
Devastating as that sounds, there is no path unless I love myself before you
Before it was so easy to find my way because I flowed like a boat trapped on currents
I did not fight it nor did I release...

Stranger
Who appears in the depths of your eyes,
Where once a lover made a home.
Why does he wear a stranger's face today,
Where once a soulmate held sway.

Why does he wear a stranger's face today,
Where once a soulmate held sway.

OH GAZA! OH JERUSALEM! (A DIRGE)
Gaza! Oh Gaza
The City By The Sea
Where My Disciples And I washed Feet
Oh What Is Been Done To You!
Jerusalem! Oh Jerusalem
"The City Of The Great King;"
"Peace I Leave With You; My Peace I Give You"
It's Being Done To Me "In Your Name."

Wedding in Vegas
He was a terrible gambler. Any chance he had he spent his money on some sort of game, machine or table. One summer the family all went to Vegas for a wedding. His nephew was getting married. He wanted to gamble. He can taste it. His wife knew that she had to put her foot down. She was stern and very emotionless when she told him, "NO GAMBLING!" She once mentioned to him during the flight to Vegas, If you gamble just once I'm going to kill you! Don't come back to the room if you do." He promised that he won't. She held everything of his, cards, money etc..One night while they...
