A Creole Countess In Reminisce (Part I of V)
London England 1800. A.D
Do you remember me, my love
My love, amid time, hearts will asunder
Like dark clouds in the mist of bringing the rainfalls and thunders
Merging of the elements to the powers that be
Through portals of logic, hidden spiritual realm, transference of psyche energy
Dimension when transferred of minds time, feel me now, our synergy
As in ancient time when my moistened skin felt the will of your need
Your touch, my scent, blending our love sheets

Fervent emotions caught up in the cadence of your mental groove
Balancing me out as I forage off your spiritual food
If there ever was a time to sink into the desire of what’s being spoken
In the midnight hour your lips whispers over mine, ecstasy awoken
The scent of lust, the touch of compassion floating in your head
Taking your hand leading you over to a silken clothed bed
Emotions, passions, heartfelt needs you shall be fed
For this night, allow me to love you mindless into infinity
In this bed of comfort, our souls...

To love a Pisces Moon
I tried to describe you again today...
I've done it a thousand times or more
There's a surging tsunami of emotions
And I struggle with each wave inside me
One after another containing hundreds of thoughts
And I struggle to pick and choose the ones to say
I fall upon water imagery today when you came to mind
You are a perfect rainy day at the beach to me
The waves the color of your eyes as they roll and move
To try to leave that gaze is shockingly difficult
The thick wet sand pulling me down with each step
Purple seashells...

Just Watch---Calm and Balm in Oahu
Walking out to the backyard
one hundred feet from the sea wall
my brother's daily wakeup on Oahu
nature provides a calm to life
Me the naive mainlander
see a crab and wonder if it is live
the creatures still living are on the other side
making their way back to the water
Hear the waves crashing against the rocks
a shirtless dude
makes he way across the area
and offers a fish my brother in turns gives a coconut
The coconuts are in fact an experience
I am warned not to occupy space...

WIND MOUNTAIN MORNING ('A CHEWENA SONG of ASSIMILATION') 7-4-2000, on Wind Mountain, near Tres Piedras, New Mexico
sunrise reveals
pink bands of clouds
stretching out above
wind mountain
out over this vast
glorious horizon
a continuous flow
of far off
mountain lines
that rise and fall
in distant shadows
of blue gray slopes
silent song
of earths great circle
surrounds me here
awakening
all across
throughout
this vibrant sea
of boundless land
in gently rolling hills
and plains
of cactus...

I find that it is easy to get lost—
In the twinkling stars adorned by the summer night
In the slow and arduous shape-shifting of clouds
In the abundant air saturating my breath
In the volatile rage of a metaphoric stab wound
In the pain justified by betrayal
In justice that warrants bigotry
In sloth
In the apathy of sinners
In envy
In the triumph of winners
In greed
In the absence of clarity
In the defiance of disparity
In the forest of sanctuary
In the abyss of despair

I'm fine as I in bed,
Cozy lay...
"Haha"... "Yes, I'm a sleepy head"...
I don't want to get up as I start to shiver
your day is so chilly
I hope I don't get a nasty fever
I'm trying to think silly
but it's hard to as you wintry me deeper...
Makes me sleepy as I try avoiding the cool floor
Being so exhausting cold
it's not easy to simply ignore
As I wish I had someone to hold
They'd keep me warm and more
...

When spoken from the heart the words have meanings
One day the planets said is there anyone there in this Universe
Moon said I believe there is someone on this Earth
The birds said yes there are some creatures thrown out of the Heaven
Angels were surprised at this voice even the beings in the skies didn't know this secret creation
Who are these self centered and disobedient creatures on Earth that are better than us, said the Angels
They are so disrespectful that they don’t even remember their Lord
They are proud of their assets and riches but don’t even...

A DEEPER LAIR OF DREAMING (6-25-03, 4:00am, Galveston Island, Texas)
up at four a m
to get a drink
of water
nestled in the stillness
of this dark
quiet night
i look outside
my window
startled by the sight
as regimented
clouds of white
passing by above
bottom lit
from lights below
left on all night long
across this islands
semi illumined grid
of faceless
sleeping masses
creating this dramatic show
of nocturnal skies ...
to get a drink
of water

Nature made convenient sluice,
when pool water did wend
down the gentle slope
describing gargantuan wetsuit vend
er steadily chugging, chiseling,
and channeling straight away
blindly coursing upend
ding (mankind imposed)
property boundaries demarcations tend
with futile diligence,
asper the whimsical barenaked lady's
propensities, viz mother nature
made short shrift send
