We Are Poets
We scribe more than words,
We orchestrate emotions and feelings
to a single coherent thought which ignites
the imagination, a legacy for all of man.
In the beginning we pasted the walls of caves
with pictures, glifs and marks.
some of the oldest scriptures in the world
are written by the wisest of their age.
The translation of notion to words are
unselfish and given freely, originating masterpieces
to touch and heal the world
in a way like no other.
Creating lullabies for the restless souls,

the car buisness
Automobile industry
At the seaside, the water signaled many colors
pale sober gin, dark hue, then bottle green and pink like a nursery rhyme
no one took notice the sea was warning of a disaster.
It began in the late afternoon when the sun felt tired but hesitated to sink beyond the horizon
So much more to see, and the night lasted until six in the morning.
The cars by the seaside started all at once and
headed towards the bay and into the sea
the bottom of the bay was smooth, and many cars were able to drive far before they drowned, but the...

One More Book
I answer her question with a rambling joke.
Do I have a plan in place?
Nah.
I'm too easily distracted.
Knowing me,
I'd be about to go through with killing myself
but there would be one last book I'd want to read.
Or one more poem I'd want to write.
One more place to see.
One more topic to research...
One more gelato flavor to try.
One more sexual experience to have.
One more cause to help.
If i had any common sense
I might end my life.
But there's always one more book. ...

which has
never been read
which has

which has

Curatrix For Budding Chaucerphiles
Curatrix For Budding Chaucerphiles
She dusts books with her burning hair. Her flaming tresses brush the words of the opened pages of ‘Canterbury Tales’ licked by her locks. She kisses due date cards for boys desirous of her lipstick strawberries.
“Ms. Rowena, doesn’t your hair collect dust from brushing those old books?”
“It is my way of worshipping the authors. I think they would be honored.”
“If you say so. But I doubt making your hair into a dust broom crossed their mind as adulation.”
“They would be tickled pink at...

Good Endings
There's always an ache when I finish a good book.
My heart feels full, my mind satiated.
Yet, there's a longing.
A hope that the story never ends.
Sure, good things don’t last.
But can we pretend,
just for a while,
That they do?

Paper Architects
Trace index finger down my spine,
acknowledge every crease.
Unveiling secrets between the lines;
Through curiosity or disbelief.
Fingertips graze at delicate edges,
Ideas spill out, too big to withold.
Dog-eared pages mark the worthwhile pledges.
Notes in the margin trial stories untold.
Long nights deciphering their themes,
on a path where nothing seems to agree.
Are we authors of the same dream,
Or are you reading vicariously through me?
acknowledge every crease.

Through curiosity or disbelief.

With the Books
He ran within the landscape
the trench was deep and dirty
snow on all around him
and bullets peppered the ground
He fled on skis
dodging trees and rocks
as the alien ship
traverse the midnight skies above
He fell into the ocean city
almost forgotten, now a mere myth
Atlantis the sunken world
where fantastic beings lived
He walked on the great Sundaland
listening to the people
understanding their way of life
tribal but elegant in its starkness
He stood on the shores of Lemuria
awe and...

NATO's war
NATO's war.
It was on a bright day in 1949 the Washington treaty was signed and later called NATO.
This treaty was purely an American undertaken and designed to surround Russia with enemy troops and sow distrust of the Russia based on endless propaganda.
When the communist system collapsed one would think
NATO was no longer needed, but no, not so, because
that organization had changed its character from a passive watchdog to an aggressive mastiff.
The US administration had promised Russia under Gorbachev that NATO would not expand further eastward, but...

planet Norway
Planet Norway calling
We see a TV program from Norway, a smallish nation bent on becoming green, building windmills on top of mountains and in the sea, filling the landscape with rotating blades that have an annoying sound and does not make the famous landscape more prettier.
You see, to finance this dream of an unsullied nation at ease with itself, it has to sell polluting oil and gas by the tankers full and the more expensive the electric dream becomes, more oil and gas must be sold..
To reason to the leaders of this electric manic disorder, is impossible they act...

between, “Great Expectations and “Gone with the Wind,”

each chapter,
I long to be,
