The Fallen Church
A tempest stirs, a grievous wave,
My heart shatters for those left to crave,
For trust betrayed, for lives undone,
By men who once stood, now they run.
The sacred name of Christ now smeared,
His church defiled, by those once revered,
Their hearts corrupted, their hands unclean,
They sought the lusts that could not be seen.
The catalogue of ruin grows with haste,
A parade of leaders who've lost their grace,
Apostates in shadows, hearts turned to stone,
From faith once vibrant, now wholly alone.

Letters To Heaven
I wrote you a letter, I'm wondering why,
I’m left with no answer, no simple reply,
No voice from heaven no voice from the sky. Surely you haven't left ,O God did you die?
Thought you'd ease this burden we all have to bear, but it’s quiet down here, are you actually there?
We live in our fears, tears dripping on faces, People starving, the whole human races is, suffering and homeless, year after year, please give me sign that you can actually hear.

Pedals for these medals
The world spins like a bezel,
I aim for stars just to see your face, As I take my place,
We are on a race,
So allow me to state my case;
I’m in this world weighted by hate, I’m here trying to balance the weight. Honestly, I’m scared for my fate

Zombie Apocalypse Requiem
THE ZOMBIE BUG
They knew it was fake news and that no vaccines would ever cure
Hell on Earth was found in a new strain, infallible and deadly pure
Each mutation patently intelligently designed, against a virus drug
Zealots became AI empowered, when infected by the zombie bug
Over a course, of months and years, every curfew inevitably failed
Madness roamed, onto the streets, from the sky the bullets hailed
But nothing could stop the rise of those labelled as the living dead
In the raging flames of pyres though, they tried to stop the spread ...

Dear Satan
Dear Satan,
Having already sent a letter to God (no reply yet) I thought that I'd also write to you, to see how the land lies between us at the moment. Perhaps sort one or two things out with you, a bit of straight talking between my demons and the devil, if you like... only kidding! Of course I realised a long time ago that what you say 'goes' and what you do... well, it's there for all to see.
Anyway, I've decided to write you a short poem, in homage to you. I hope you enjoy it!
My liege, you're pure darkness, you're the ice in my heart

Dear God,
Hi there, how are you? ........hello, anyone there? Just kidding!
We haven't corresponded before and I've never met you, or even heard from you, but there has been plenty of stuff written about you. It's all old material now though and scribed by ghost writers back in the day, I guess they're just 'ghosts' now though!
You'll have to excuse my flippant joviality (some might say "sarcastic" - hey, whatever!).
Anyway, as you may or may not know, I fell from Heaven into Hell a long time ago and I'm just hoping that you don't bear me any ill...
