Pheromones
We cannot see them but they have an action
upon the chattel thoughts some lovers deny;
thoughts of an inevitable protraction...
by which we comply;
a creature feature of olfactory fact
and subsequent baby production excess
where aroma promotes the sexual act,
after they undress!
And true sex is the antithesis of death
so let's explore some anti-natal options
that will never promote future baby's breath,
or their adoptions.
If unloved babies will become public brats
then there...

And on top of it all,
the dog
won't stop
shitting
on the carpet.
They say animals can sense distress.
won't stop
shitting
on the carpet.
They say animals can sense distress.

Between Wolf and Sheep
Where the high hills collide
The deep long valley lies
The oak forest grows alongside
From behind the mountain rise
In the dim of the shady twilight
The pious sends celestial calls
From the godly tower afore night
Vibrant echoes thru serene halls
The full flock, now homeward coming
Treading the path of the milky way
Heavy with ripe grass and pure air
Safely herded by a sturdy shepherd
The deep valley now holds an eerie depth
Shadows of wolf and fox and some other claws
Fangs of wild come down from the...

Skechers for Scorpions
Yesterday, I almost stepped on a scorpion.
In sandals.
I wore the sandals,
not the scorpion
But perhaps I wasn't alone.
For had I stopped to observe very, very carefully,
there is the slightest possibility
that I might have seen
eight tiny stylish summer shoes.

Hike alongside the crab
In the whispering shallows,
where the waves kiss the shore,
small crabs emerge
from sandy burrows,
their new world, shells shining,
legs prepared for adventure,
walk sideways,
an ancient rhythmic dance.
Their pincers,
like miniature swords,
exercised with grace,
as they cross the beach,
a procession of side steps,
each leg a compass needle,
pointing to the horizon,
In search of hidden secrets
under sun-kissed grains.
The sand yields
for their determined march,

Flash & the squeaky toy
Squeaky-squeaky
squeak-dee-dee-doo!
running like a bull
in a China shop__!
Flash wastes no time
teeth snarling
he takes his shot
slaps that toy
out of my hand
with his hand
then bites it
& drags it to
FlashLand
Under the bureau
where all his treasured
possessions end up
Oh man, he hates the sound ...

Fly
I’m the fly
That crawls on skin
The disgusting parasite
With a disease ridden bite
Spreading misery
The itch you want rid of
I’m the fly
Wallowing in rotten flesh
Making you sick
Repulsive little creature
Existing only to annoy
Just swat me dead
That crawls on skin
The disgusting parasite
With a disease ridden bite
Spreading misery
The itch you want rid of
I’m the fly
Wallowing in rotten flesh
Making you sick
Repulsive little creature
Existing only to annoy
Just swat me dead

If Only You Could Understand
Dear Fish,
I enjoy sitting here on this bank,
watching the birds fly by,
I listen to their melodies,
that calm these chaotic times.
I want to understand emotions,
of each of the creatures that I see,
From the turtles on the bank,
To the humble bumblebees.
Because within them,
You see,
I find peace,
within me.
Sweet little fish,
There's no need to swim away.
I will not hurt you,
or try to catch you in any way.
A token of my...
