I love your plastic halo (lyrics)
verse]
You know I'm a sucker for pain
you make it feel so heavenly
got me wrapped around your plastic halo
love drunk on
everything you say
even when I know you're lying
but I keep coming back for more
[Bridge]
Build me up
just to knock me down
break me just to take me
all my resolve is
a house of cards
and you're the dealer
you're the dealer
(of everything I need)
[Chorus]
I'm just a pretty little addict
another silly little addict
stick around so I can take ...
You know I'm a sucker for pain
you make it feel so heavenly
got me wrapped around your plastic halo
love drunk on
everything you say
even when I know you're lying
but I keep coming back for more
[Bridge]
Build me up
just to knock me down
break me just to take me
all my resolve is
a house of cards
and you're the dealer
you're the dealer
(of everything I need)
[Chorus]
I'm just a pretty little addict
another silly little addict
stick around so I can take ...

Beautiful Nightmare
Spellbound by this heartbreaking love
He is frozen under a pale moonlight
The countless nights of hell tell a tale
That burns at the core every night
And yet in the yearning there is an ecstasy
An exquisite torture of pleasure and pain
Where paradise and perdition intertwine
When his lips bleed by speaking her name
It all goes back to the first time they met
Bodies and spirits felt so damn attracted
But when she looked deep into his eyes
He felt as if his soul had been extracted
Her smiles and...

but, actually
you know what it’s like when
she tells you that she’s leaving you pretend to be surprised

A Vampire’s Embrace (Unchained Melody)
DRACON’S CASTLE
Sighisoara, Romania
“Would you like to go and get some breakfast? We do have a very long day ahead of us.”
“I would love that.”
“Ahh…was that guy really someone you know.”
“Yes.”
“I thought you had a boyfriend.”
The inquiry caught Naynina off guard.
“I do.”
“Just watch yourself. These Romania men are known to be possessive and territorial.”
“You are not Romania, therefore, where did you hear such nonsense from.”
“I have eyes and ears.”

the sunflower surrendered
to the will of the honeybee
burning up with jealousy
the sun silently watched

The heart of love
The heart of love
Can you not see? How I yearn for you.
My heart leaps into my mouth when you walk by,
the fires of passion burn under my skin,
The color drains from my face,
My heart beats so fast I feel I will explode.
Of course, you cannot see,
For I am silent, not daring to speak,
For fear of rejection, of ridicule.
I am unnoticed by you,
I meld with the background imagery,
Not really here.
How can they find it so easy?
These other men flirt and tease you,
And you, you flirt and tease back!
But...
Can you not see? How I yearn for you.
My heart leaps into my mouth when you walk by,
the fires of passion burn under my skin,
The color drains from my face,
My heart beats so fast I feel I will explode.

the colour of night
cigarette drops from
my hand
rolls across the floor
the walls breath in,
out
in,
out
picking up the
runaway fugitive
smoke
striking a match
the flame jumps
up like a frightened
cat
as disappointment
is washed up on
shore like a dead
fish...
a dead something
a dead anything
me, perhaps
absence paints the
colour of night with
the tongue of a
slobbering
dog
my hand
rolls across the floor
the walls breath in,
out

The Ghost in the Heart
Haunted by the ghost of someone you used to love
Fifteen years and the burn still itches
Haunted by the thought of her voice
You the stray puppy
She the final word on love
Why does it still hurt?
Fifteen years and the burn still itches
It’s a self-inflicted pain
To want the one that will never want you
It drives the hands to write
To paint
To sculpt
Keeps the mind awake
With questions
Wars were waged to forget
The ghosts of rejected love
If love was never rejected
There would be...

Warmth of a Blue Raincoat
When I reached out to you
in the early hours of Sunday
you said you were cold and blue
in your place so far away
When the night closed
you reached out to me
you talked about your blue raincoat
that didn’t prevent you getting wet
You said you missed me so
wanted to reconnect like before
your call was interrupted
just like it always did
in the early hours of Sunday
you said you were cold and blue
in your place so far away
When the night closed
you reached out to me
you talked about your blue raincoat
that didn’t prevent you getting wet
You said you missed me so
wanted to reconnect like before
your call was interrupted

Cortisol
Yes I was seeing the pages of my diary
You were cortisol
Every day full injection
Coming with a brand well designed signature
And expensive package
If I could turn back the time
I would undo you
Delete every byte
That in an alternative universe
Would not be there.

Your Name
I see you walking your dog
I see you petting the old stray cat
I see you feeding the birds
I gotta know your name
I know you don’t have a girlfriend
I know you don’t have a boyfriend either
I know you live on my street
I gotta know your name
oh why
Can’t I just get up the courage to ask
Your face looks pretty kind
But what if you turn to me and laugh
oh why
Can’t I just walk up and say hello
My brain goes blank every time I try
You look up and your eyes go through me, though
I see you...
I see you petting the old stray cat
I see you feeding the birds
I gotta know your name

Art Piece
A warm smile, a lingering look,
and us under the rain,
were all it took for me to fall again.
Landing softly in the palm of your hand,
to be kept or to be broken,
fully surrendered to whichever you choose.
I’ll pick up my pieces, so it’s okay to ruin me
if it means getting a snippet
of what it feels like to have you.
You are a celestial event,
a rare sight to catch,
and I am but a skywatcher
waiting for your fleeting yet serene glimmer.
You are the perfect, flawless art piece, ...
