such long winded drivel

if only you were more
observant, you'd know
that I do have have more

[ SK ] House of a Thousand Doors
Of the many rooms
under this mansion's roof
you find yourself in
investigating
. cleaning
. . decorating
. . . furnishing
. . . . demolishing
. . . . . running plain scared from
haunting
each leads to hallway
or staircase that proposes
more rooms upon rooms
upon . . .
but retracing your steps
is possible only in theory
for nothing in this world
ever remains static
Houses are no exception
---alive, growing as...
under this mansion's roof
you find yourself in

[ SK ] The night is dark and full of terrors
Shelter from the elements
and shelves upon shelves
of fresh food and beverages
well within expiration date . . .
Other than perhaps toilet paper
one would think nothing else
would be necessary for survival
but one would be wrong
While enduring any storm
in the company of a few
within the many who can't see
beyond their own personal mists

you can't tame

---dark place afraid to hazard---
its tail lamp blinking
inking a scape from New York
straight from apocalyptic nightmares
where corpses nap in stalled cars

should back be turned
