The hue of magma fire

Have you ever married a woman
Whose sole color was only pink?
At times I think she’s not even human
She’s worse off than you could ever think
She’s totally off her rocker

Searching 4 My Voice
I used to scrimp
My bellowed whimper
A frightened cocktail shrimp
Among elephants at dinner
Whispered mouse tweets
Were hardly ever heard
Too many lions in the streets
My mosquito message
Could not pierce the heard
I stood at the watering hole
An embarrassed and belittled plankton
Observing the zoo classes as a whole
Trying to pollenate this gigantic banquet
Blotches of red
Rowed along my cheeks
Infuriated jealousy was fed
My primal roar
I desperately tried to seek
So I huffed
And I puffed ...
