Rest In Peace ( To the old me)
Never thought the day would arrive that I would have to say goodbye. My heart feels like it's being twisted and the blood has drained now it's dry.
Soul's on fire cause there's no moisture, My head spinning like it's on a never ending roller coaster. Sitting trying to make sense of it all, Guess God had the final call.
For in Peace now you lay, But in my heart you will forever stay. I'll never forget the trials and tribulations we went through but I've been reborn and made brand new.
I've learned how to speak up and not hold in my pain and because of that...

Still Living
The ambulance crew, had let me know
My heart had attacked me, it's beat now, was slow
I had no visions, or saw no bright lights
The cardiogenic shock, dealt with my fright
I lay upon the gurney
Awaiting my final journey
A Brasillian was given to me
As i experienced this surreality
And i remember thinking, or so it did seem
It was like i was in Star Wars, and A Midsummer Nights Dream
Then one hour into my op, things went suddenly wrong
As i wondered if this, was to be, my final swan song
My fingers, and toes, turned suddenly to ice ...

Heart On Lockdown
Momma told me to stop wearing my heart on my sleeve, but I ignored it and didn't take heed.
My heart is aching in this uncomfortable pain, freely given love is all I wanted to gain.
This hurt is a little different from all the rest, can't put my finger on it feels like I failed this test.
Wish I could stop the tears from rolling down my face, wish it would all just go away leaving no trace.
What did I do to deserve this type of treatment, then people wondered why I carry so much resentment.
Head up crown straight I got this, my heart is...

Seen It ALL Before!
From my window
I see the ruins
Of Hastings castle
It lies there
Upon a hill
Like a sleeping giant hermaphrodite
The flag pole
Sticks out
Like a small toothpick
On it's chin
Just below it's lower lip
Like it missed its mouth?
It has one breast
And thankfully
Only one penis
Unlike a kangaroo
They have two
It's true!
Its nose is hooked
More Roman, than Norman
At the top of its head
Is a 1960's type of quiff
Possibly a tree
Can't really see
That happens to be growing there ...
I see the ruins

A babbling brook
whispers the secret of life,
never to be heard over the noise
of the cataracts of our lives.
Too deaf to see
and too blind to hear,
emotions become a blind beggar's cane,
pleading for spare change,
our tin cups runs dry,
surviving on nickels and dimes,
while the alter of greed is lit
with gold candle sticks.
STOP
and
listen

Renaissance
Tresses dyed in strawberry
Cascade over tapioca shoulders
Still luxuriant
Her creamy dreamy soda smile
Is a pink lipstick straw
On a dulcet cloud
That floats in sarsaparilla
For vanilla dreams
When tousled strands fly free
In the dizzying spray
Of her oceanic odyssey
Her medieval blues
Turned into a rosy renaissance
For waltzing with the surf
In a thrift store dress
Purple as her royal bones ...

Ceilings and walls of tenuous sleep
Blankets are a thin
Membrane
Against the noise
And the chaos
And the cold
Yesterday, sunlight and commercial
Music at the mall, where
Those of disposable means are
Casually tossing coins,
To the metallic yap of a
Plastic toy dog
I see them,
Groomed and adorned,
Having learned and strove
Through the capitalist systemic
Calculus
Of have and wont and woe,
I admire them
That perseverance,
That sharp toothed priority
Of self and those whose well...

When you thought it couldn't...
Is this possible?
Did This Happen?
What you thought was impossible
What you got taught in your childhood
Wasn't fully accurate,
Was it?
I survived!
A massive heart attack with several 100% blockages
I was living on borrow time, some ppl do
I Guess
Dont ever say anything is not possible
Dont ever take life for granted
Dont ever feel everything you get told is accurate
Go thru the experiences
Let all the stress go
Enjoy that second chance but treasure the first one
When you thought it couldnt...

Feeling lost, sad, hopeless, vulnerable
Depression ain’t nothing to play with
Especially when you mix it with other emotions anxiety and stress
My life was rough and far from the best
but one day I had to sit down and digest…
the feeling that I wasn’t a man who I should’ve been
My life was spiraling out of control and that’s an understatement
Then one day I realized I had gone too far,
Put everything aside and went away in my car
Stopped at the store picked up a few things
