refugee
It is the obligation of every person born in a safer room to open the
door when someone in danger knocks.”—Dina Nayeri
i am a refugee
whose parents had to flee
from economic suicide,
where ceaseless chronic ills collide
with human dignity.
i come from india,
escape somalia;
from haitian port, a dingy boat
flails out of sort to stay afloat
on wild caribbea.
plucked up from myanmar,
the 2017 war
hot on the heels of man and beast,
despite appeals from lay and priest,
how i have wandered far!

Simoleons and Shekels
Oh where oh where is the pro-life lament
in solidarity to Gaza grief
from the reflex munition leitmotif
so ethno-nationally heaven sent
to banefully fall from the Zion sky
so kosher can care for Israeli moms
by making more room with David Star bombs,
often as not from Pentagon supply
where inventory makes the dollars fly,
and soon by suitable escalation,
promotes the denizen decimation
ensuring that the sacred troops don't die;
valued now more than the woman and kid
who don't quo the pro with near enough...

Looking for a Litmus Scripture
The cycle of violence spares no one
unless the stricken face is turned away,
away from rage as endless as the sun
in apes consumed by their own disarray;
some shindy misled souls of fracas
purblind by the chaos fog of order
where the universe proves to forsake us
and salt the wound with a chain link border.
Thusly uniforms nab the user's mind
as caged metaphysical wings may fly
toward times where tortured souls are kind
and witness rainbows in their prison sky...
where occupations will be seen afresh
in all the frailties...

Disses of a woke nation
Question, are you woke?
I had to ask because not all of us are equally yoked
So we all want to take back our authority from the winning governments,
After noticing they don’t care for the masses that aren’t wearing a specific garment
“Are you willing to die for me?” the joker asked and it’s a deep question,
Having many different layers that burn the eyes like an onion
A few notes were found on how to oppress the race I represent,
But I know that was intentionally released to aid in the agenda of the liberal percent

What A Terrible Life For A Woman
She's sweet, lonely
Just his type
He pulls her in with a drink and a smile
Naive, baby
Don't think twice
If it comes with a price
Run for your life
What a pretty distraction
They told her to cover up her shoulders
Cause the boys couldn't focus
Maybe they should teach him
To control his own actions
But that's not what happens
He says "What a pretty distraction
She's just what I need"
And I know she'll be mine by the end of the night
If I make her as insecure as me
They're always...

Dispensations
In the heart of a poet lurks a curse;
an awareness of all that is unjust
and that vice is honored more than apt verse
or the maintenance of a healthy trust;
a place where blithe hope may prove more robust
whenever reports say something still worse
than that which was previously discussed
of morality and the public purse.
We dare with our contrast to compare
and all in good time may detect a crime,
with no authority, (but to despair),
and search for good cheer in another rhyme,
on another day, or another night...

Some people feel that the countries with nuclear weapons will not use them in wars.
Do you think they have been developing these dangerous things with no evil intentions?
Mankind is stupid enough to build and stockpile weapons of mass destruction,
So of course, the leaders are damn stupid enough to use them to kill off one another.
The warmongers cannot avoid a nuclear war; it is only a matter of time before it happens.
Furthermore, countries such as Israel, Russia, and the US are provoking world war.
No sensible person should be happy...

THAT'S MY LORD
Yes! I Stand With The Brokenhearted,
I Stand With The Poor,
The Captives And The Bound.
That Is My Religion.
That Is My Gospel.
That Is My Lord!

I TOO STAND WITH PALESTINE
What separates has never been religion!
What separates us are Hateful, Ignorant and Indifferent Ideologies;
Love and humanity unites!

Born Free
All hail the born-free generation!
How blessed are we, that we were born free?
Our bodies are free but not our minds,
Our labor is free but not our thoughts,
Our tongues are free but not our lives,
Our legs they open them for free but not our hearts,
Our Oxygen is free but not our health,
Our stress is free but not our smiles,
Our votes are free but not our rights,
Our poverty is free but not our dreams,
Our scars are free but not our healing,
Our struggles are free but not our peace,
Our freedom is free but only in the minds...
How blessed are we, that we were born free?
Our bodies are free but not our minds,
Our labor is free but not our thoughts,
Our tongues are free but not our lives,
Our legs they open them for free but not our hearts,
