She’s out on the town
Let’s not mess around
A girl likes her drink
And knows her own mind
If a lil tipple takes your fancy
And a gal feels like dancing
Just go for it girl
Ain’t no time for romancing
Just feel your desires
Take the leap
Have it all
We spend so much time in this stupid façade
Acting like we’re together
When really we’ve never been further apart
Let’s not mess around

A Battle of Faith
It's me again
I touched myself in way I'm not supposed to,
I turned to porn even when I promised I won't do.
Now I feel too guilty to even approach you
I know this is not serving me
I know this not safe for me
The pleasure can't compare to the joy and peace it takes from me.
I hate it, and I hate it more than my fresh love it, feels like a warm hug but it is a bear hug and it is breaking me.
In the depths of my soul, a battle rages on,
A constant struggle, a fight that's never won.
I vowed to walk the righteous path, to never...

Where dark lies
Where dark lies
I have gone so far
down at times that
despair has become
my focus and death
has looked like
paradise.
Why am I still
here? Because
I stared death
in its face and
met the challenge
it represented.
Knowing myself
was the challenge
and I realised in
the mirror was
myself looking back.
Overcoming me took
me to realise that
stopping me from
jumping into an
abyss only took
me.
I have gone so far
down at times that

or hateful
fear based wall
you build or raise
you burn
a thousand
unseen bridges
to greater peace
to more compassionate understanding
to more empathetic love
and to deeper
universal
more meaningful
healing connection
in this increasingly divisive
near completely disconnected world

no need to speak to me

High Stakes
A woman exists who has won my heart
These feelings are unreciprocated.
Trudging along through dates
Leads to more rejection and ghosting
Soul crushing blows
One after another
Loneliness settles in
Do I give up or persevere?
Feelings of apathy
Begin washing over my being
Sequentially, like the ocean waves
Breaking on the shoreline of my mind
Everyone is worthy of love
Or so I thought.
Some are not meant to
Find our other half
Forever forced to play the game
Gambling with our emotions ...
These feelings are unreciprocated.

Take me away
Tracks
I heard they take you places
And so I walk there
Waiting for a train take me somewhere
Tears leaving me behind
Replaced by an empty stare
Reflecting sights of despair
Along tracks to the middle of no where
I see it so clearly
It’s coming to take me away from here
And I can’t help but hear
The trains screeching weep
It sounds uncomfortably familiar
Oh yeah I remember
It’s taunting from every night
Until I was bound to the tracks
Even if given a knife
There is no will for life ...

Walk
Walk
I would have walked to the end
of the earth and I would have jumped
had I thought that the Earth was then flat.
Sometimes in life we do not know our way
home anymore and we have no idea where
the answers are at.
I will still walk for there must be a purpose
and it will reveal again to my eyes.
It is here that I am without a name.
I walk this walk.
I am free of shame,
only welcomed without a disguise.
I will listen to the mighty trees' counsel.
If I am sane it is because of they. ...

In the hills up high, I stand alone,
Lost and searching for a place to call my own.
My life feels heavy, burdened with strife,
Missing my kids, longing for their light.
No one to shield me, no one to hold,

Heartbroken Girl
Faith is a fine invention,
I went against the world.
Thought fate was in my hands,
but I'm just a heartbroken girl.
The motions of Sinking birds
matched the lowness in my chest.
Their wings clipped in air,
tearful memories, I reminisce.
The forest was claimed as ours,
we had the world at our feet.
Mountains echoed our names together,
running through meadows of fresh wheat.

but I sit singing the blues.
Loneliness hovers like vultures,
