She Was found
Naked lying I n
A dirty drain.
I wish that I still
Pee in my mother's
Womb.
Straining the cow's milk
To feed a Buffalo.
Hope you find music
And magic in my words.
She will live long grinding
Milestones to come back
Home. I will have enough pay to
Sleep off the night.
She must be wearing white in a

And me roaming the streets
With food and football on

I am and I am not honey
do you require some vinegar mixed with the methadone
I am home
origins the white light with a virgin taint
my purity was pierced only in the physical since
I am the virgin Queen because my poetry halls were perfectly scribed
no one knows what I do voodoo
because I know Hoodoo better than you
I am new every morning great is His faithfulness

He was like an open canister filled with candy to a child
To an adult, he's like a mountain of ice.
The calm surface with intelligence and strength of a million souls within
He knows when to crumble,
but will always stand tall when you need him to.
He is a martyr,
a man who will stand in the path of a hurricane,
to hold it off,
to save the honor of his only born.
A craftsman who will die daily to make ends meet
and create a utopia and blind his offspring from the demons around…

I wonder if his life flashed
before his eyes before he died
My life crashed before my eyes then I sighed
In a mad dash to the ash
Running from the worst hurt
From the last bash smashing
Head on into the first crash Thrashing from the vastness of the amassed past
Outlasting the lashing out cashed out
From the casting out hashing it out as a castaway
Passed away giving in from the passing out
With no doubt about the what
I'm the who when there's nowhere left but right there
With the know how but not the why now

Sire The Inspirer
He who sires or one who inspires a child
The leader of the pack while in the wild
Proud warrior, strong protector & a King
A good father embodies all of these things
He enters rings, prepared to handle his biz
With more power than Pryor in The Wiz
Loves his kids even when they are apart
They keep him thriving more than his heart
Hates having to depart from their presence
He'll take blows though and suffer in silence
Violence is not in his nature but you best beware
He'll push your muffin cap back blue if you take...

Sorry, no alcohol at all since last Sept 15, 2019.
And then, there's The Sobriety Marathon, 1987-2015.
In 2015 I decided to "treat myself" to trying all them craft beers that were not in existence when started 28 year sobriety "binge".
I was in another near year of sobriety when Leah died. I maintained sobriety for a month or two afterward, but then went back on my world beer tour.
Sept 15 was the stupidest day of my so-called Life. And it was triggered by an EXPLOSION of grief in the parking lot of the neighborhood grocery. I had picked up the mail before...
