Dear woman,

I'm sorry I couldn't stop him when he layed hands on you.
Thank you for always keeping me safe.

I'm sorry for the times when you asked me to behave and it fell upon deaf ears.
Thank you for always listening.

I'm sorry that I wasn't there when you needed me.
Thank you for always having my back.

I'm sorry for all the times I disappoint​ed.  
Thank you for never letting me down.

I'm sorry I didn't listen when I knew you were right.
Thank you for taking the time to give me advise.

I'm sorry I took your love for granted.
Thank you for your love unconditional.  

I'm sorry I caused you those restless nights.
Thank you for rocking me to sleep.

I'm sorry I didn't respect your law.
Thank you for setting rules.

I'm sorry for not owning my wrongdoings when I know you taught me better.
Thank you for teaching me wrong from right and not to lie.

I'm sorry for leaving when you needed me to stay.
Thank you for always being there even when I didn't need you to be.

I'm sorry for being more concerned with my feelings when I should of thought more of yours.
Thank you for always putting me first.

I'm sorry I didn't fight harder to save you.
Thank you for never stopping the fight to save me.

I'm sorry you left earth before I could show you the man I became.
Thank you for making me the man I am.

I could write a thousand sorry's and tenfold the thank you's, but I'd like to thank you the most for being my MOTHER.
