I freaking love St. Augustine!!!!!
I was on the beach there, and the sea turtles were hatching, and I was collecting them in buckets, a photographer stopped me and told me they were endangered species and how 80% wont live a week due to predators, so he and I put all the ones we could in the ocean :)
I dig this poem...it brought back fond memories

thee skull of me 'profile' pic is that of a personal acquaintance sea turtle pal of mine .
day'fore yesterday, a big (5 footer) shark rolled up on the beach.....tis quite a contemplative thing to sit awhile wit the corpses of these amazing god'like(to me), creatures......
