Blue Grass

Blue grass,
Igniting passion in the sky,
We see you
Your blades of innocence
Slice through our dense,
Prevaricated insecurities

Dear blue grass,
You could never fade
To smooth, translucent sky
Why would you try to fly,
When it's on ground you'll always lie

Blue grass,
Melting with the constellations at night,
We see you
Your infant teeth
Spew chattering commotions
They're a slew of war infected potions

Dear blue grass,
How could you be so fake?
If you're cold, don't shake,
Stay on safe ground
Let the world pass you by

Blue grass,
Crying citrine gems in the sky
Your reign of shame,
Your murky night of fame,
Why did you try?
