ALL-NIGHT GOURMET MEAL

(Title figurative - poem not about food.)

The wedding bells have made their peal;
In vows taken we made the deal
That on our marriage set the seal.
Memory plays like a film reel.
We long dreamed of this, now it’s real:
Off with my wedding clothes I peel,
To tantalisingly reveal
What he is free to see and feel
Till nothing is left to conceal.
At altar of my sex appeal,
Equally naked he does kneel.
Having been kissed from head to heel,
In throes of pleasure I do squeal:
This is not a quick snack we steal,
Rather an all-night gourmet meal.
Within each other's ardent reach
He savours on my juicy peach,
In turn making my joy complete
Serving me, tup-like, with his meat.
