i am a victim

a victim of stereotypes,

a victim of pride,

and a victim of lies

people see me

and wanna run and hide

cuz all they see is a troublesome child

who doesn't have half a mind

to tell the difference between right and wrong

but Wat they don't understand

is some kids of today have no one and have to make it on their own

yes we could make some better decision in life

but we are young and we are strong



people claim us to be the worst generation

but we were brought up on demonstration

ignorant to contemplation,

and poisoned by procrastination

so we cant only be the ones at fault

we were taught to take things to heart



taught to lie,

taught hide,

taught to have nightmares not dreams

taught to not fight

for what we believe

taught to use G.O.D. as a scheme

and even y'all can agree

we were taught to want things....

we don't need
