Image for the poem Waiting

Waiting

I waited for your warm embrace
I waited for your tender kiss
But all you did was disgrace me
and I found out all you are is a liar
 to get your desire

I waited for your eyes to look into mine
I waited on your pitiful excuse
 I waited on your apology
But all i got was kicked to the curb like yesterdays trash
and trampled upon like your doormat

But guess what...
NO more I will wait, it's just way to late
NOW I'm the one tossing you aside
 I'm over you
I realized you are just a simple man, at once I was your greatest fan
I do not need you nor do I want you
A more worthy one I will find a kind and loving soul
All I have to do is choose
 once again you lose
Don't get me wrong I have no hate for you
nor a grudge I just don't like you

I'm sure you have a new victim in sight...
I wish i knew her name so I can warn her
of what a fake you are
that all you do is lie and take
The day will come when you will meet one more witty
for no one will have pity on you
with no reserve all will say you got what you deserve...
So here Iam walking away no looking back, now seeing everything you lack
You could promise me the moon and the stars  but...I would never take you back
As some would put it all you are is a sad sack of... well I need not say it we all know what you are
So go ahead and take a long look in that mirror and realize you are alone and always will be
