Image for the poem Laughter

Laughter

                                          A gaggle of urban geese
in red hoodies, wobble by staring

children laugh pointing ,a squirrel sniffs at the air

two home-school mothers whisper

the wind stirs the brown leaves left over from

autumn. Birds sing in the apple blossoms

the sun warm on my face, as I raise my head

Giddy, with laughter as I swing on a child's swing.
