Breaking Your Heart
I feel something inside, or could it be the light?
Should I be the one who loves you, I see I am breaking your heart from the inside.
Did you ever know that it was me who said those last words, I never meant to make you cry. So let everything else pass on by, I know I left you a broken heart.
I hope the scars will heal from the inside, can’t we move on from this.
I see a sign that is telling me to let go of the feelings I have of you.
Don’t want those feelings of you to crawl back into my life, I know I said I’ll move on from this.
So sorry that I was breaking your heart so long ago.
The memory of you lingers around me, can’t seem to put those memories to rest.
I have only me to blame for what has been done to you.
I would have giving anything to take back those words I said, still what was said cannot be undone. Just hoping we can move on from this?
All I want is too be on my way with life and to be the man I am today.

Aw... this is such an honest poem.
It really rings with truth and it's always good to hear confessions like this.
Despite the variety of line lengths (which could be altered so as to encourage more of a flow within the poem), it is a nicely written (and I assume) confessional piece.
