The star player wins a game
The school year ends without drama.
Everyone could have lived happily ever after.

But happily ever after doesn't sell.
People don't tune in to watch
Happily ever after.
People don't buy the box set for
Happily ever after.

It's a messy world,
When we'll buy heartbreak,
Death
Tragedy
Tears
Violence
Over happily ever after.

Who wants happily ever after anyway?
Friends don't bond over happily ever after.
New romances don't start from happily ever after.
Life isn't interesting
Because No One wants to buy Happily Ever After.
