The Real Me
I’m far from being a model I have a few more pounds than I should
I have curves, but I’m me…take it or leave it
I come with some baggage I have scars I have history, a past
That’s molded me into who I am today
Some people love me…
Some people like me…
Some people hate me…
I’ve done good and I’ve done bad, I’m not perfect nobody is
We live in an imperfect world
I’m moody a little crazy at times and sometimes random
I make no apologies
I won’t pretend to be someone I’m not
I am who I am you can like me or not I won’t change
In fact…if you can’t handle me at my worst
You sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best
And if I love you, I do it whole- heartedly without reserve
