Arabella's Coming Out (Part 2)

It was an Indian summer
that occurred enigmatic at first
She was overwhelmed by this feeling
She never thought it will last long
While glancing at the epitome of elegance
She is wishing this beautiful entity
In front of her will stay forever
“Don’t leave.”
These words resonated her feelings for her
The woman in front of her shooked her head
And said, “ I can’t  unless you’ll fight for me.”

Turtles can’t leave their houses
Snails can’t be forced to come out of their shells
Why am I caught up in the situation
Where it is to be or not to be
To leave or stay
To fight or surrender
It is because this love consumes me
I can’t just give her up

To be indecisive is her one last resort
It is all-or-nothing now
The night is still young
But the coldness she feels
Is already tremendous
“Arabella are you alright?”
Her worried mother asked her

“Mama, there are things I wish to talk about.”
Arabella answered without hesitation.

Things that make me happy.
I’m in love.
She makes me whole.
I want to give her all of me.

Before another  bubble pop up in her mind,
A voice came out from her.
“I’m gay! I’m in love and I want to be with her
For the rest of  my life!”

“Are you out of your mind?”
“Impossible woman!”
Cried her mother, shocked and upset

She can’t accept her mother’s reactions
She is not a criminal or an absurd person
She isn’t on drugs and her mind is still intact.

“No, I’ m not. I know what I’m talking about
And you can’t do anything about this.”
She answered her mother with confidence in her eyes.
Her words empowered her.
She already knew what will  happen.
She has to conquer her fears.
She has to be strong.
She has to leave her mushy side.

She was forced to leave.
But if this will make her free as a dove
Then the pleasure is hers.
