I have so many favourite poems of yours, Faith, that I've stopped counting. This one's at the top of my list, though. I think it's even more beautiful read aloud. I love the contrasts between the moon, the sun & the birds. There's something very special about the idea of the "clouds" going their separate ways. And "all the birds" no longer soaring.

If the great Elizabeth Barrett Browning was alive today I just know she would add this 'little beauty' to her reading list. As I just did! :)
