AGRRAVATED MURDER OR MERCY KILLING (JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE

Laquesha Infinite’ Monae Wright stood in court before Judge Joe Brown to face charges of Aggravated Murder.
Judge Joe Brown said, “Ms. Wright I see here in these documents that you plead not guilty of Aggravated Murder.
You claim it was a mercy killing? Please explain.” "Well Your Honor, Laquesha began, one night, June 3rd Kentrel  
asked to borrow my car to go to the convenient store over on Fifth Ave to buy beer. I told him “Yeah” and I handed  
him some money and a small list of things that we needed for the house. The DA Tyrone Mitchell interrupted, “Your  
Honor may I approach?”  “Please do” said Judge Brown. “Thank you, Judge. The list that Ms Wright has mentioned
 was found in the pocket of the deceased. If I may, Judge, I’d like to read the list written by Ms Wright. Judge Brown  
said, “You may councilor.”  “Thank you. Ms. Wright wrote 2 boxes of Swisher Sweet grape flavor, a pack of New Ports  
and list of junk foods. At the bottom of the list is a notation instructing Kentrel to stop by Corn’s and get 2 dime bags  
and 3…“I object!” shout Laquesha, What that got to do with him being gone for a week?!... It don’t so, just sit down and  
let me finish!” Judge Brown said “There will no disruptions in my court room! However, I don’t see the relevance in a grocery  
list so, Mr. Mitchell please be seated and allow Ms. Wright to continue with her testimony.”  
Laquesha looked over at the DA and rolled her eyes then began speaking “As I was saying, he was supposed to go
to the store on Fifth Ave. and come right back. I waited a few hours because I thought he was kickin it with his boys,
but, after waiting another 2 hours, I went out to look for him cause I thought something had happened to him.  
He wasn’t at any of the spots he normally be at so I went back home. My home girl Coco called me and said she  
just saw Kentrel rollin around in my car wit some new bitc…chick. I didn’t trip shit…sorry Judge; I didn’t get upset
because I knew he would bring his sorry ass home sooner or later.  The night of June 10th I was in the kitchen cooking
me something to eat. I had just finished cookin some bacon and just as I was stirring the pot of grits someone snuck up
behind me and grabbed me by my waist. I screamed! Throwing everything I had just cooked in the air! Somehow awwwlllll
of it landed on Kentrel!  
Laquesha raised her right hand and placed her left hand on her chest, looking at the judge withtears in her eyes she said,  
“Still to this day Your Honor I don’t know how them pennies got into the pot of grits.
Kentrel was on the floor holding his face and screaming! When I saw what those hot grits mixed with pennies and bacon
grease had done to his face; I knew he wouldn’t want to live like that so, I grabbed my gun and shot him…three times…”
Judge Joe Brown stared at Laquesha for what seemed like hours then he spoke “The court fines you guilty of Aggravated
Murder in the death of Kentrel Waller!”
