Most butterflies use their beauty to attract a mate
While prettily sending panic
through the hierarchy of nature

All to survive another day; Acquire the next date

They use their wings
Patterned of colours from spring

To create a lovers spark
As fleeting moments pass

Ensuring the next generation
To carry on fake temptation

Of ornate eyes sprawled to protect
The birds and lizards abnormal neglect

A picturesque approach
To really boast
God crated them lucky





But not all butterflies are beautiful...
They’re usually the first to die
