Sam the Cat

My frisky talkative little black and white bundle of pure delight she is part Siamese
I've had her for seven fold I watched her enter the world and take her first breath
She suffers from a serious affliction called Epilepsy and this scares me to death
Seizures come without warning it breaks my heart to see her suffer I can't help her
She has figured a way of letting me know before she starts to flip and flop
I hear a grave MEOW that sounds like she is saying "MOMMA"
I hold her close and tight so she dose not feel alone
In my arms is she and I cry and pray for it to go away two minutes feels like hours
"God bless her and shield her from harms way" Is all I ask this day
When it passes she looks at me as if she's asking "Why"
Tears in my eyes I hug and kiss her little head and whisper "I don't know"
She puts her nose to mine and lets out a small wine licks a paw gives me a rub as if she is thanking me and saying "I'm fine, I love you momma"
