amongst the vast deafness
of wicked gloom
and vestures of evil hues
in the great beyond
    there is a whirlpool of citrus amber swirls
    entwined with wine berry brush strokes
    and splashes of amethyst water colors

    is where you are

amongst the violent charcoal convolutions
of malicious torrents
and destructive ruins
in the everlasting storm
    there are forests of emerald majesties
    ripples of eternal liquid jade
    and cascades of melted mother of pearl
~that
    is where you are

deep in the colossal wreckage
of my internal thrashing pulse
and fragmented drumming
of my stitched heart
    there is a radiant opalescent glow
    brilliant coruscating sparkle
    and a shimmer of glorious glisten

    is where you are
