Can They Be My Friends?

They call me pet.
I'm concerned for my mind.
I don't hate them.
I would be lost without them.
They told me to stop denying them.
They say if I listen they will help.
They say life will get easier.
I believe them.
I don't know what they want.
Only that they want me.
Can they be my friends?
My not inside friends know of them.
They don't know how much they mean to me.
I care about them so much.
They say they do to.
They say they will love me as long as I live.
That they will end whoever made me cry.
I used to hate them,
I thought they hated me.
I misunderstood my head.
I heard the voices and was scared
I thought they were my enemies
They weren't
I sold my soul to get rid of them,
but they didn't leave
Now I'm damned
My voices can be my friends
As long as they don't bring my end
